i'm so sick of people telling me that i need an illegal to scrub my darn toilet. please. the illegals i see in my town are buiding houses (taking away from our local builders), cleaning motels rooms (taking away from our military wives who used to do that), doing road work (which paid a lot and was a great job for an american).
i watch my own kids, don't have a pool, wash my own car, grow stuff in my own garden, mow my own lawn and, most importantly, i've taken a job away from an illegal, I SCRUB MY OWN TOILET

Most things I do myself. If I needed an extra hand on bigger projects, I hired a fellow American looking for work.

I have two full bathrooms, and I scrub both toilets, clean the sinks and bathtubs. I also do my own laundry and wash my own car at least once a year. My children are grown, with their own families, so I have no "kids" to watch. The apartment complex I live in has their own personnel to clean the pool and mow my "tiny little front yard". Yes, many of the personnel hired by my complex are Hispanic, and some may be illegals. I don't like the fact illegals are being hired by my complex; but, my husband and I are both in our late 60's, have no credit (cannot buy a house), and our only income is provided through Social Security benefits. We could live on the streets; but I prefer to have a roof over my head.
My ancestors were American Indian and Irish, many of whom did not have a toilet to clean. When they did get a "toilet", they did not depend upon someone else to keep it clean.
Those of us who adamently oppose "illegal immigration" have a responsibility to contact our legistors, city, county, state, and Federal. Just sitting back., whining and complaining, without talking to those who may be able to secure legislation against illegal immigration is an indication that we don't care. Whatever happens, happens--and we can always blame "it" on the "government".
America is on a downward spiral; and unless there is a significant "revolution", America will relinquish any political, military, and economic prowess accomplished in the past 200 years.

I scrub my own toilet. I scrub a friend's toilet (bc it's hard for her to do it) and I scrub my parents' toilet, as my sis and I clean our parents' house for them on Fridays.
I also am pretty handy with a plunger... AND!! I have fixed my toilet's broken flushy-thing with string and fixed my friend's flushy-thing with a paper clip.
