In Madrid - Castilian

All the other ones, as mentioned by thex707
are spoken in the rest of the country, not in Madrid.

Well obviously Spanish or Castilian Spanish is spoken there. Well madrid is a city of many cultures they can have people speaking Filipino, chinese, romanian... Well if your talking about the Historic National languages, like Catalan and Basque. In Catalonia where Barcelona is, they speak Catalan and its official there; its not a dialect its a different langauge than Spanish. In Basque Country , obviously Basque is official. this has unknown origins and its not related to spanish at all. Galician spoken in the northwest corner of spain or Galicia, well they say it was a dilect of portuguese and then Spanish influenced that area and it now sounds more like spanish with a little bit of portuguese influence, they are still not sure to called it a "dialect" or "language." Well there are also variants of Catalan one called "Valenciano" spoken in Valencia just south of Catalonia. Also another variant in the Balearic Island just off the mediterranean coast of spain. There are different "accents" of spanish in spain too. In Andalusia, or the south of spain they usually don't say there S's , like Como Esta, they would say, Como Ehta. or España the would say it like, Ehpaña. Well i hope that answers your questions, sorry for writing too long.

People is Madrid speak Castellano. Many parts of Spain is bilingual. In the Basque part for instance, they speak Basque and Castellano. Madrid however has only one official language and that is Spanish.
