We don't.
However, He will go thru it with us.

Because many many many people need an easy way of thinking things will get better. That they can do something wrong and be forgiven 5 seconds later? I believe in a higher power, not to say anyone is right as to heaven-hell-gods and whatnot. But why would "god" let you make your bad choices and let these "bad" things happen to the world? Why let us suffer, and fight with each other, and die? Why not help out?

... i want to encourage you to go on questioning things considering that you will not allow doubt and unbelief to interfere. i tell you, even if you get all the answers of people, you still at some point will ask the same question again. but do not worry, that is normal. every human is finite and therefore has a finite mind. there will be no instance that a person will know everything. and i ask you to trust in God. and surely you will have peace of mind. (and by the way, ask that question to God in heaven. that is exciting. hope to see you there).",)
now, let me go on to share to you my views and hope you will consider them. first, there is nothing that we can do to gain God's trust and for him to be pleased other than to have faith in him (hebrews 11:6). that what makes us special, we are saved even if we do not deserved it. shouldn't we be thankful all the days of our life? 2nd, yes, God tests us. and just like any other test, it is for our own improvement. sufferings are like pressure. great pressures produces diamonds.
God knows what he wants to do. If he does not, then He would not be God.He promises us a strom-proof life and not a strom-free life. i realized that when i became a Christian, i actually had more problems than before. my father died, we are in a big debt, and more so. But i thank God becoz He is my hope. sufferings are there to produce character in people. the character not to give up but to hold on in the hope that God will save us. and even if he will not, i still would follow him becoz he deserved my life.
for you to relate more, please read the situation of shadrach, meshack and abednego in the Book of Daniel. they were about to die before King Nebuchadnezzar of babylon, yet they did not waiver even if God will not save them.
",) hope you will not as well.

Jesus didn't suffer to gain God's trust. Jesus IS GOD and he died because he knew he had to die to save you from your sins.
Of course God has a plan for your life and everyone else's but you must remember he has given us free will so we make decisions everyday that could alter His plan. We pray in order to communicate to Him. Of course he knows you better than you know yourself but when you pray you are true to yourself about what is really going on inside and therefore building a relationship with God.

I actually don't believe God promises to save me from suffering... I've found God's comfort in the middle of difficult times over and over. He promises to never leave us, that there is nowhere we can go that His love doesn't reach. I do pray for His help and wisdom and protection, and sense His guidance daily in my life - helping me go through the good days and the tough days.

the problem is that you are making assumptions that you know what GODs will is and what HE wants for HIS children, and you are making these assumptions without the benefit of Holy Scripture, this is obvious as nothing you have said is supported by scripture. those who put their hope in GOD, do so because they have faith that GOD will do what HE promises HE will do in those very same scriptures.
yes, we are tested and tried, so that we may be purified and made ready for our Lords return. NO, JESUS DID NOT HAVE TO GAIN GODS TRUST...HE ALREADY HAD IT...FROM THE VERY BEGINNING!
you should learn your facts before you make assumptions...

the bible is a story that can be read and interperated a hundered different ways, by a hundred dirrerent people. Each of us, have our own idealistic vision of what god represents to us, it is individual and unique for each of us. i belive that we are all interconnected, god is within us all and our experiences in this human existance is our opportunity to grow, our soul journey is full of many pains, loves, sorrows and joys, it spands an eternity from the beginning of creation, we have been transforming, changing growing.
If we suffer, then so be it, that is our journey, it is supposed to be that way, the good and the bad are equal to eachother in importance, niether exists without the other!
People blame god, because they play into the 'victum' architype, they relinquish their control over their own lives and put blame onto 'god'. For how could it possibly be their own doing?! they cease being warriors of their destiny and find glory in pity and in the attention they recieve.
God is...... everything
everyone, everything, it is you, it is me, god is every atom of existance, every peice of the puzzle, every partical of stardust!
we "god" created this plain and all of the other inter-realities, which co-exist within our universe, to be able to experience life as a totality, everything is connected and interconnected, to be able to 'play' out all of the infinate possibilities to learn and to grow, there is no end and no beggining, we are all GOD. So therefore we must accept life and our journey.... it is our Karma

Suffering is part of the human condition.
God will save His believers from eternal suffering, not from all suffering.

God says He will never leave us or forsake us...I take that to mean He will go with me through my sufferings. The Jews are still looking for their Messiah - they have to blame someone.

Jesus did say we would suffer for believing in him.
God has a plan and he has given us choices. He may not answer our prayers the way we want them answered but He knows what's best for us and does answer prayers. He sees ahead and may know that what you want isn't the best thing for you.
