It seems like the majority of girls hate full beards on guys. What's wrong with the ruggid, scruffy look?

My guy has a long goatee.
But I suppose it's because, depending on the guy, it can make them look scraggly (if they don't groom well), older, or "weird".
It would seem that it's more the younger girls who don't find them attractive.

When I had a full beard my wife hated it, and so did the majority of other women (like you said). Amazingly enough they all had pretty different reasons to dislike my beard. It was too scratchy for my wife, I was too old looking for others. Others found my shaved face "way more attractive". Yet, for some others my face looked just too big, etc.

Depends on the guy really. I think some facial hair on some guys looks so sexy... Most can't get away with the full lumberjack beard though. I hate any kind of whiskers on my guy though.. i'm always sending him to the bathroom to shave :)

The "scruffy" look is hott and consists of a little shadow all over; full beards are just nasty.
And no man in the history of humanity, no matter how gorgeous, has ever been able to pull off a mustache. Period.

A beard always makes me think "mountain man" and thats never sexy.
Although I have to admit that I'm starting to like some of the hipster beards i see on young dudes.

Well, I may not be the majority, but as for me, I LOVE BEARDS!!! They are so hot / attractive on most men! I have always loved them, but my first and now my current husband were never able to grow beards... actually my husband now can grow one, but doesn't like them and refuses to do it! :(
I did get him to grow a goatee once, but he kept trimming it too much and it looked more like he forgot to shave! :0) LOL
Soft beards are way sexy and fun to snuggle into... Oohhhhh!

because they look RUGGED AND SCRUFFY!!!! It makes them look dirty-----especially if its too thick. I don't hate facial hair, but too much (a beard) is unacceptable. They itch like hell and usually guys with big thick beards stink, because all the bacteria gets in their facial hair! YUCK!
