i was thinking of those kids who are taught since birth they must kill others to protect themselves, child soldiers, or the ones who are abducted and forced to fight and kill. killing is obviously wrong but why should this child go to hell when he was forced at a time of innocence? do you think they should be punished?

I think the adults that abused the child should be punished. God knows what is in our hearts. He will know if this child truly believed in killing or was forced. Children are innocent in God's eyes.

If we are talking of a brainwashed child, I believe that God would be merciful.. but even children deep in their hearts know right from wrong and if the child is doing wrong, or bad things on his own, yes he would be punished for his sins.. I do not know how or when or how much the punishment, but I believe even in this instance God would be merciful.. I leave all to God.

I think that according to the belief of Heaven and Hell, God would judge by what is in somebody's heart. So I think in that case, whoever corrupted the child would be punished but the child wouldn't.

No its not wrong all brainwashed children should go to Hell. If the brain offend the pluck it out saith the Lord and cast it from the. It is better to go to Heaven with half a brain like all the other Christians. Than to go to Hell with the entire brain where the worm never dies and the fire in not quenched.

I think you worded your question incorrectly... you assume a brainwashed child goes to hell. I don't believe this to be true. Moreover, I don't believe killing (especially to protect oneself or others) is an automatic sentence to hell. We all do things that are wrong. Even evil. It is in our repentance that saves us. What we do good or bad has no bearing on whether we are going to hell or heaven.... it is based on what we believe.

All children go to heaven. Children are not educated enough to make a decision whether to follow Jesus Christ so they all go to heaven. Brainwashed children are not acting on their own free will as God has given them they are murdering because that is what their society has taught them. Leave it to God to judge them with Jesus at their side holding their hand.

I'm NOT saying that teaching a child to kill is right, in any way. My question is this, is it right to brainwash a child into believing that if he/she doesn't believe the 'right way' they will burn in hell?

I believe it is in Muslim belief that any kid under a certain age cannot go to hell if they die... I like this idea, because children are so easily manipulated.. they don't deserve to go to hell for others..
