If someone believes that then he/she wouldn't think he was going to heaven unless he repented, but some people don't believe in heaven and hell. Some people believe in being good and moral on the earth to have a good life, their motivations are not for a reward in the afterlife. People who do these things that you mentioned are not always bad either, it depends on their motivations, some things people do are just coping mechanisms because of the misfortune in their life, should they be punished for that? I feel that if Christians and such put more effort into genuinely trying to help the unfortunate by counseling them, giving them food or clothes rather than urging them to convert, then those people would be true Christians and not out for their own selfish gain. I know that Evangelists and such think they are really trying to save people from going to hell and this is the ultimate task, even higher than feeding and clothing them (because if you save them they will get a job, clean up their act, and most of their problems will be solved), what they don't realize is that what people really need is a helping hand (I know some people have made a career out of getting help but this is beside the point). Truthfully, this world doesn't need more religion, it needs people who care and are willing to miss a service or something bizarre like really being a real friend to someone who is not of the same faith or not saved, try that if you want to be a real Christian, or a real good person.

Britney said it very well. The truth of it is that we just don't know what is going to be waiting for us up there. Some events to happen in the future are as follows: 1. The Rapture, as recorded in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 2. The Judgment Seat of Christ, 2 Corinthians 5:10. where each believer will give account of his or her deeds (NOT sins, they were already taken care of when Jesus died!) 3. The Marriage Supper of the Lamb==I don't have my Bible with me as I write this, but I think it's in Revelation. Really, I think that we'll be so busy thanking the Lord Jesus for what He did for us that we won't have time for anything else! BTW, even Martin Luther made an "off-the-cuff" comment about something like this in his "Table Talk", IIRC. Melancthon replied that Jesus said, "Show us the Father, and that will suffice" and that made Luther say, "Why, yes, that will be quite enough for us to do!" You can get a better example of this in Roland Bainton's book, "Here I Stand: A Life of Martin Luther". So it's really a surprise, Granted, I'll wish I had done more for the Lord while I live down here, but just to see Jesus will be worth it all.

It depends on what you've been taught.
Christians believe that having a relationship with Jesus is the ONLY way to Heaven. Repentance of sin is vital, and when you do sin, confess to God & He'll forget the sin.
But if a Christian continues to sin, perhaps he really isn't saved. A chat with a pastor might be in order.

Anyone who doesnt have JESUS as there saviour must think about it .Anyone who does have JESUS as there saviour and turn there lifes to JESUS truthfully will not involve in such things.
John 3:16[kjv] For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
so when we believe in JESUS we have eternal life.JESUS lived a sinless life and gave up his life as a sacrifice so we can be sin free. Ask JESUS to come into your heart and forgive ur sins and cleanse ur past with his blood.
With a simple prayer like above u can be saved.JESUS loves u and wants u to be saved.

Whatever sins you have committed are blotted out when you accept Jesus as your savior, and are baptized for the remission of your sins.
When you repent, you turn away from sin. You may err after that, but when you truly repent, you just don't do that stuff any more. At least, not purposefully.
God disregards any past sin that has been repented of, and forgiven. It no longer counts. It was paid for by the blood of Jesus, so the sin is truly gone.

I am a good-hearted person, that helps others when I can. I believe what I believe and I don't delve into anything I consider to be evil. I don't intentionally cause harm to others. I don't commit adultery, try not to lie, and treat my gods with respect.
)o( Blessed Be!

You assume I do all this. What makes you think there is a heaven? Oh, yes, you must assume that too.

Because the Bible is a mythological work based on the worldview and experience of people thousands of years ago. It points towards a truth, but it is not THE truth.
