I just can't stop chewing on my lips inside my mouth. I stop doing it, couple of minute later, I find myself doing it again. What should i do? I don't bleed, and it doesn't hurt either. But god it bothers me so much. Help!?

I would get some gum or better yet some hard candy to suck on because then if you find yourself trying to bit your lip you can move the candy to that spot, you can do double duty with cough drops, Care One and Robitussan make great flavored orange, lemon, grapefruit vitamin C drops so you can get your vitamin C at the same time.

I have the same problem. I Chew gum or get sun flower seeds. It gives you something other than your lip to chew on. Good Luck

Oh geez i use to do that to and its mind over matter you just have to stop. it wa hard for me and i think the only reason i did stop was it got boring after a while. plus it will keep that chewed shape and when you eat you might bite a huge chunk off. I did :-( good luck with it.

Why not chew some gum instead. It sounds like a nervous habit, like chewing your fingernails. If you can't quit talk to your doctor.

I'ts a nervous habit and the best way to get rid of one is to start a new one-- start chewing gum instead.

Potentially gum might help. Pinching or slapping youself when you catch yourself...hard...would probably eliminate it as well. It is like some people stop their kids from sucking their thumb through punishment (not that I am advising that) as an adult punishing yourself would likely be effective.

Hello.
Well..i dont see why is bad to do that, but one way
to quit it is to try to do something else, such as sport,
eat (choose fruits), and talk. If you keep your mouth
busy, you might stop chewing your lips.

You may not like this but I'd see a doctor, cause this maybe ocd, obcessive compulsive disorder. It takes many forms and can definitely be helped. Please go to a good clinic.
