No sweetie, you're within a normal weight. You have a BMI (body mass index) of 21.8, which is within the normal range for your weight and height.

I'm 5'3 and 108 pounds and also think I am fat. You are not alone!! But let me tell you that you should completely disregard those abercrombie wannabe's and the girls in the skinny jeans. You are beautiful and probably have much more to offer than they do. Just eat healthy and in moderation and swimming is an excellent healthy activity that will help you get into shape (if you even need too) and will make you feel good about yourself at the same time

Obesity, or being fat, is not related to age. It is related to physical fitness or the condition of your body. Normally you should have an ideal weight and body fat percentage. You should also be able to perform certain tasks without being left out of breath. Stuff like that. How far can you run? How many sit-ups can you do in a minute? These are general guide-lines and not hard-fast rules.

Take it easy on yourself. Nothing wrong with some wide hips. Start eating better. Start off by slowly removing things that are unnecessary like three or four sodas a day. Drink more water and excercise thirty or forty five minutes a day. Don't get on scales. You are still growing into your body. God loves you the way you are.

Ok, listen, there is no 1 month plan, 2 month plan, or even a 3 month plan that will keep you looking thin. Will you lose weight? Yes. But, for how long, exactly for how long you exercise and keep on a good diet. What I am saying is, this is a lifestyle change! Try to balance your diet and exercise moderately at the least and do not fall prey to the damaging "yo-yo diet".

You are definitely not fat. You are in the normal range according to your BMI. Don't focus so much on weight but more so on your health. Good luck!
