Here's what you do:
-drink water
-advoid fatty foods, especially things with oil
-don't eat a lot
Here's simple exercises to tone your body. They last for a few hours:
-stomach: do crunches. Do 10, exhaling as you come up and inhaling as you come down. Do 4 sets, taking two big breaths between sets.
-thighs: stand up straight. Then, jump up straight in the air and lift your arms straight up above your head. Do 20.
-arms: do pushups. Do 20, and if you need to, lower your knees to the ground.
Models do these exercises right before photo shoots to give them that "toned" look.
~Good luck!

Drink plenty of water throughout the day to get rid of the bloat. Stay away from the chocolate and salty foods which will only help you retain fluid. But make sure you eat! The key in your question is that you "feel" pudgy. Nothing stated that you look pudgy. As a matter of fact you stated that you are "pretty skinny". Don't worry about it. To make the best impression - be kind and outgoing - and have a good time. In 20 years that is what people will remember...not that you "felt a little pudgy".

It may not work so quickly, but the only thing you could do is lose some water weight. Reduce calorie and protein intake and don't eat carbs. On reducing calories the body needs to rely more on energy within the body and thus breaks down protein and carbohydrate for metabolism. When these nutrients are metabolised water is released.
Make sure you go back to a healthy diet afterwards!

Your "pudgy" feeling is most likely bloating caused by your period. The best way to address this is to drink a lot of water, to lose the water weight, and to avoid foods which can make bloating worse (like beans, broccoli, soda, very salty foods, etc). This should help you be more comfortable. And trust me, no one is going to notice if you are a bit bloated!

Ok, don't starve yourself now. Drink A LOT of water. This will flush out a lot of the sodium that built-up which gives you the bloated look.

Figures are not meant to be altered overnight. Minor fluctuations due to diet, fluid retention prior to menstruation, and many other variables are inevitable. Stop being so critical of yourself and try to develop a healthy confidence in your appearance. Believe me, others are not nearly as attentive to the slight deviations as you are.
