who else heard on nascar now that mark martin will drive the 24 if he is out with his wife i think mark might even get a win if he drives because he did good when roush had no so good stuff

Mark would have HMS motors and chassis and could win in the #24. Don't count on him being in there for more than one race. Gordon can take a hit in points for one or two races, but no more. Roush has been one of the most successful teams in the sport winning championships in 2003 and 2004. Mark, Kenseth, and Jimmie Johnson are the only 3 drivers to make the Chase all 3 years. Ford's problems started when they switched from Taurus to Fusion (16 wins in 2005 in Taurus; 6 wins in 2006 in Fusion + 1 this year in Fusion). Mark is a free agent and he does drive Fords in the truck series and has driven the #06 Ford in the Busch series.

He MAY drive the 24 car. It depends on when Ingrid has their daughter. Jeff will still lead the points and the will help the 24 stay in the lead for owner's points. I wonder how Bobby Ginn feels about that? I'm sure HE would rather have Martin's points than Smith's for that race. They have already fitted Mark for a seat to go into the 24 if it is needed.

You've GOT to be kidding !??!? I never heard a thing about him driving the #24. I can't take it (bashes head against keyboard)... I absolutely do not like Mark Martin. He is my least favorite driver.... I'm going to check out that website...

mark seems to replace drivers from time to time, I think he is a traitor to Roush/fenway...things get bad so bail...okay his choice, dont really care what he does...he should retire...didnt he say he misses his family so much he needs to lighten the schedule thats why he left roush????
