The "root" of the word "Islam" in Arabic is SALAMA which is the origin of the words Peace & / or Submission, a submission to God and peace to all humanity

You know what people?
Don't talk and talk about something you know nothing about cause you will REGRET one day.
Islam is the true religion of peace, love and confidence, its the religion that God wants all of us to follow and the religion that will take us on the right way to heaven. MOHAMED is our example which we follow and he showed us the light of ISLAM, he never lied, steel,..etc and all what he does is for us and he inform the letter that God told him to, so we believe in his letter and we are going to INFORM it and we will win , and all of you people will REGRET one day, believe me you will.
If you want know what really Islam is and what it is about, read the Quran/Koran and not just any book and you ill know what really Islam is , and if you don't want to just shut up and keep your wrong info for your self.

I practiced Islam for about 6 months in 1998/9. I found most Muslims to be peaceful and caring people. They showed integrity to their families and work. Their sense of community was high.
There were some parts I did not understand or agree with, but that was my point of view.

All religions are stupid, but Islam is arguably the most evil. Most religions have at least some good traits in some form or fashion, but Islam is the only one from its very inception that is 100% all about conquering, killing, and raping anyone who opposes it.
But don't take my word for it. Here's a good yardstick: Go to any western nation and start yelling out in the street about how neato Allah is. Chances are nothing will happen to you.
Then do the same in a muslim nation except yell about how great Jesus or Buddha is. How many minutes do you think you'd last before being kidnapped or killed?

the bright side in islam faded away when they carried out those senseless actions taking innocent peoples lives, theyre just idiotic people hiding behind a veil bowing down to an idol that encourages bloodshed, islam is nothing but trouble, and don't be fooled the rest of the islam "non-violent" followers are doing their part but in a more passive way.

Because I have never heard the non-extreme "bright side" muslims vocally oppose the violent dark side which says to me that they passively support it. I personally believe in a God of peace and love. Why don't you be an ambassador for your religion and denounce how terrible the "dark side" is and expose the sleeper cells that are so intent on destroying everyone who doesn't see the bright side.

The one where they sexually mutilate little girls?
The one where a man can take 4 women for wife but no such advantage is accorded to a woman?

9/11? Ignorance... to the guy above, I know a lot of Muslims and a lot of them have read the Bible and Torah..etc. I don't think you are BANNED from reading other books, that is just a silly fairytale i think you made up. education is encouraged in Islam
I am not against Islam, there are a lot of beliefs in Islam I believe in actually. I don't really think anyone can truly just believe in one religion 100%... but then again, I don't think God cares what religion we associate ourselves with, as long as we have our OWN beliefs and believe in God, that is what matters.
