Dearest, I don't know why you took ten at once, but it's not a good way to commit suicide, or reduce pain either. Golden rule: every medication is a poison (poison cures only at the right dosage) So if you have bad pain etc, there are more than enough pain management methods out there. Be responsible for your health! (yes, ten Motrin is a lot for ur liver to neutralize for now)

Taking more medication of any kind than the recommended dose is not smart for more than one reason. If the recommended dose doesn't help, neither will extra. The liver has to metabolize drugs and the more you use, the harder it is on the liver. An over-worked liver is not a healthy one and it can cause many problems, some deadly. There is no reason to take ten Motrin. It's not a wise choice and all choices have consequences.

What was the dose of each Motrin. You should never take more than 800 mg twice a day. It can upset your stomach and damage the liver. Be careful.

Depends on why you took them.
Motrin (OTC) is 200mg. Rx strength Motrin is 400 mg (Naprosyn is one type).
I have heard of people taking 2 or 3 Naprosyn at a time (800-1200 mg.)
If you took 10, you took 2,000 mg of Ibuprofen. It's not going to kill you, but it could hurt your liver and kidneys....

it depends on how often you take them and how high your tolerance is. i would prolly call poison control and ask them to be on the safe side or go to the er. but in doing that they may think it was a suicide attempt. but I'm pretty sure its a bad thing. if you start to feel sick or tired suddenly call 911. the # to poison control is 1-800-222-1222.

Yes, very bad. You're supposed to take only 1 every 4-6 hours. Are you trying to kill yourself or something? I'd try to make myself throw up so I don't go into a coma or something.

hmm way to go i hope ur tall or overweight if not you'll probably die u need to try to throw all of it up or call the poison center

yes, you need to go to the emergency room for treatment for an Overdose. depending on your weight it could be very serious.
