An anonymous statement cannot make a declaration for an entire religion. Please focus on a point, and have sufficient documentation. If you study, you will find that most religions have promoted violence.

1500 USA was mostly American Indians. By 1800 they had managed to kill or give diseases to most of the Indian population. Europeans took over and now the country is mostly Europeans. That was 500 years ago.
But here we are now and those Europeans died many years ago. What purpose would it serve if all the Indians in the USA went on the warpath and started killing other Americans? Then the Whites would kill them and then the blacks would kill others. We would have a civil war in which the children would be without food or schools or in some cases even parents. Then we could blow each other up in the market place and the streets and each others schools.
Then no one would have a home, a school , or a job because the businesses would be gone. we would all live in fear.
And we could say give us liberty or give us death and just systemically start killing each other. Catholics could force everyone to be Catholic and Protestant would force others to be Protestant. Until our beautiful country would be a killing field of death and destruction.
Or we can live together with freedom of religion and freedom of all of us to find work and buy a home and have a nice school for our children. For get the past and move on determined to make it better.
Blacks were brought to this country in chains, their life was not a pleasant one. They had a struggle for acceptance and jobs and a place in society. They can harbor bitterness and hate or do something positive with their life and make a difference. Such as Opray Winfrey has done and is the most popular American. Not the most popular black American which she is that to but the most popular American.
Martin Luther King is a national hero. But he did not preach bitterness and hate but rise above that and move on.

You are not a student of history and you lack the intelligence to attribute your quotes.

First off, prior to the Christian Crusades (beginning in the latter part of the First Millennium), the Ottoman Empire was relatively peaceful.
That is, until the Christians decided to take Jerusalem by storm and sword.
Of course, after several hundred years of fighting, it is ironic that Christian Europe actually lost ground to the Ottoman Empire.

Secondly, the "Anonymous" quote is from Patrick Henry.

Islamic Violence tracked back to 700+ AD when they gutted and took over Christian and Jewish Holy Places in Mecca that had been there for several hundred years.

Islamic Violence tracked to India and Pakistan and Afghanistan when those areas were LONG occupied by Hindus and Buddhists who date back CENTURIES before Muhammad walked the Earth.

Navajo India's were almost ex tint, but you don't see the remaining ones coming out bows and arrows trying to kill people. I believe it has to do with religion and extremism. Every time a crusade ended the next crusade immediately started. Fanatics could never find the middle point were they can agree on certain terms with other people. To extremist is their way or the suicide vest...lol...

Sorry to be so Politically Incorrect but,
" Not so fast, Camel-breath."
Islam's history of violence dates MUCH further back than the 1900's.
From Muhammad's words in the Qur'an:
Your Allah condemns you to violence, instead of life.

Though repulsive, the quote is accurate.

Mohammed was a warlord, not a prophet. What else do you expect from such a cult? Do you, muslim, know how many times your "prophet" referred to the extermination of unbelievers? How about torture? Maybe terrorism?
Do you really believe a prophet of God would endorse murder? It seems like muslims hide behind a couple of obscure references to "mercy" when convenient.
Oh, and history? Who's fault really was the crusades? So "defenders" are supposed to become aggressors? Explain what happened to Byzantium, Northern Africa, Spain, and Southern France way before the 1900's????

Islamic violence started with the inventor of islam...Muhammad. He made it up and spread it through terror and it's still happening today.

Patrick Henry never said allah in his speech. He said Almighty God! not that creature made up by Muhammad. Why do Muslims insist on deceiving? Oh, that's right! Your allah allows you to.

God bless.

Violence can certainly have roots in oppression. Historically, however, Muslims have done just as much oppressing, slaughtering, and brutal converting as other religions and nations.
