Not sure if this is a concern or not. When my son was teething he got his middle bottom two first then the middle top two. According to parenting books this is 'normal'.

My daughter got her bottom two first, but now the two that are appearing at the top are not the two middle ones but a middle on and one beside it. Should I be concerned about this?

No cause for concern. The normal order of appearance is the bottom two central incisors, then the upper four central and lateral incisors in any order.

Next come the lower lateral incisors.
Then first molars in any order
Then the canines or premolars in any order, filling the gaps between the lateral incisors and the molars.
Then the second (two-year) molars in any order.
