This is like asking a parent to choose their favorite child. I have had over 1,300 different beers, in all styles from Baltic porters to milk stouts to American pale ales to double IPA's. My favorite style is American Double IPA, and I love Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA. However, Dark Lord Imperial Stout and Founders Breakfast Stout are right up there with it. There's just no way to choose.

Pretty much any beer I have been lucky enough to sample from the Trappist monks of Belgium. If ever there were a perfect beer, something even better than Guinness on a hot day, that would be it.

Just be careful when you drink it, many of their beers will knock you on your back quickly with how strong they are, but you'll never get that burning alcohol taste from them.

As for the more common beers that most people have been around..... Bud Light if I have to drink a light beer, Labatt's Blue for a domestic (US/Canada) lighter type of beer (lager/pilsner), Tree Brewing Co.'s Spy Porter, Thirsty Beaver, Pisner Urquell, and McEwan's Scotch Ale.

Impossible to answer questions kill me. Beer like wine depends on your mood and what food you are eating. If I were going to an island and could only have one beer the rest of my life I would have to take Guinness, a nice stout that is not too sweet, forget the dos equis and coronas.
