Sunday - Try running a mile then walking a mile. If you can't do the full mile running that is fine. Push as far as you can.
Monday - Run .10 mile sprints 5 times. Cool down between each. Jog/speed walk .5 mile.
Tuesday - Ride a stationary bike for 45 minutes. Then do 35 of each.
Sit ups
Crunches
Bicycle Sit ups
Wednesday - Take off and let your body heal.
Thursday - Run again. Same as Monday. Push as best you can.
Friday - Weight Training. Work on your upper boddy and lower body.
Saturday - Take off.

Here is a healthy way that really works:
Eat 6 small but balanced meals per day. Your carbs should be high in fiber and your proteins should be lean. Fats should be sparing but concentrated in the omega 3's and omega 6's. This will provide a slow but constant stream of vital nutrients. Avoid greasy foods, alcohol, and candy.
Lift weights or perform power yoga because either of these will slightly increase your lean mass, which will burn extra calories 24 hours per day. This will increase your resting metabolic rate. Also, some cardio helps.
Use a measuring tape instead of a scale to measure your progress because it is more accurate than the scale.
Here is a sample workout and a sample meal plan:

My guy, inform your friend to consciousness on striking the surplus weight that he has, off earlier than he starts a heavy muscle-constructing hobbies. He can do that via low weight-prime rep physical activities (20-30 reps/set) He is striking unneeded strain on his organs (specifically his center) if he makes an attempt an excessive amount of with out right training (ie. wasting weight) The muscle that he places on, if any, can be unnoticeable as a result of the layer(s) of fats mendacity above them. Granted, a few fats can be burned away throughout activity, however nowhere close up to with a aerobic-weight-loss plan. It all starts with vitamin, and if he's overweight, as you recommend, and he's pulling in a surplus of 3000 energy/day..his earnings can be minimum, at the same time his dangers are positioned via the roof

I've lost almsot 35 lbs, in the passed year.
All I did was alot of walking and spent lots of time in the pool.
I park my car a the farthest end of the lot whenever I was at the store.
I stopped eating after 7pm.
Sugar is my personal weakness, so I had to watch that.
I didn't deny myself treats. But not every day.
I thought about what I was eating.
It didnt' take me long.
Don't expect ot lose that much in such a short time.
You should take it slowly.
Just stay active.
Eat lots on inseason fruit and veggies.
Treat yourself to ice cream sometimes.
It scares me when young girls want to go on a"diet".
Do a life style change instead.

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)
