Well, I don't know how baby animals get born (from the mother's womb) but think of how we get belly buttons.
I know this is gross, but don't we have a tube attached from our stomach to your mom's inside? Doctors (after they help deliver a baby) roll up that tube and put it into your stomach, that's why your belly buttons are all wrinkly.

Mammals would. You just probably cant see them for the hair but they had umbilical cords at one point. This is pretty much for Mammals.

They have them. They are covered with fur and are even with the rest of the stomach area.

They do, they're just covered in fur. They're also smaller and less noticable.
