if I put rubbing alcohol on my face then will it clear up my face? I have oily skin and I know that when used too much then my skin will dry up. But what if I have a really bad break out!?!?!? Oh and btw, whose gonna win idol? Melinda so deserved to win she is so Sweet!

No, never put alcohol on your face, it will do damage to your skin and dry your skin out severely. And actually, drying your skin out makes your skin work harder to pump oil out so you definitely do not want to do that. I would go to the store and get something specific for oily skin.
BTW, yes, Melinda deserved to win, but I bet Jordin is going to take it home. ;)

No, don't put rubbing alcohol on your face! It's too harsh and over drying and will only cause you to produce more oil, leading to more breakouts.
Buy a gentle cleanser for oily/acne prone skin and use a spot treatment on blemishes. PersaGel is a good OTC one to try.

OMG dont put rubbing alcohol on your face!! It will dry it out sooo badly! Buy "Astringent for Sensitive Skin" Its only like 1.50 for a huge bottle at wal-mart!

from personal experience rubbing alcohol does dry up your face.
I would suggest toothpaste, just put it on your face for 5 minutes and wash off with cold water to close the pores

it helps some what but if you have more than a few zits and have acne then see a dermatoligist, b/c rubbing acholol wont be enough, and jordin won, i wanted blake to. but it's okay cuz he's gonna have a cd anyways.

don't it is really bad like you said it dries it up i say go out get yourself a face wash astringent and a moisturizer and start using them twice a day

don't put rubbing alcohol on your face, just buy a facewash thats made for acne.
And also, buy a spot cream (made for acne) for overnight wear.

no it will dry your skin out really bad. use a gentle cleanser instead.
