My 2 year old daughter , has been complaining of belly button pain, these past few days, its off and on. What can this be?

Can this be a urine infection? she does not cry, when she urinates. Has anyone had this problem with their kids?

She had been playing, and running around, eating and drinking well, thank God.

Are there any other symptoms? I might be able to give better advice if you gave more symptoms. I would contact your doctor anyway.

I get a little concerned when you talk about belly pain. My son has ulcerative colitis and when he had pain under his belly button he ended up with toxic mega-colon. There were a lot of other symptoms and of course he has ulcerative colitis so I don't think this what your daughter has. I would call your doctor though. It hopefully is nothing serious but I think a doctor should tell you that. I hope she feels better. Good luck.

I only have been given out of wellness center with the same issue yet on my precise. Blood exams and x rays ruled out something truly extreme so as that they are making a guess on an belly rigidity. Is your component swollen somewhat? Does it each and every from time to time unfold places like up to your ribs or down your leg? Is it uncomfortable to snort or arise rapidly? if so, attempt icing the area for sort of 0.5 an hour each and every 2 hours. If the discomfort gets worse over the years, see your GP. it is likewise an thought to lie down yet propped up with the intention to take a seat back the muscle. solid success!! Edit: Your appendix is located decrease than your abdomen button and to the suited, no longer the left. it may desire to probable be a kidney an infection however, that became my physician's first theory formerly appendicitis.

If you lay her down and press on her belly button does she complain of pain? It could be a hernia but it could also be from her apendix, most people will complain of pain around the belly button and the pain can come and go.
I suggest a doctors visit to rule anything out.

The bladder and kidneys are no where near the belly button. So can't see how this would be a concern.

It's possible she might have a little navel hernia.... If it doesn't stop consult her doctor.

Call the doctor, it is possible she could have a hernia, and you don't want anything to get tortioned internally. Give them a call to be certain.

Well, she could be faking it for attention or she could have a seirous medical condition.

The logical thing would be to go to the doctor, but that is just me.
