I got my 6 week old kitten, Lexi, a new toy. The kind with a ring with a ball in it. My big boy Cornbread (in the avatar) is showing her how to play with it! He'll slap the ball then let her. It's adorable! Especially since my other 2 cats don't care much for her. Does he need a hug or what?

Yep! Give that cat a hug, and maybe a treat on me! Someone has to teach the young'un how to be a cat, and apparently Cornbread stepped up to do it. What a guy!

A new kitten is just what both of you need after Dixie...although a kitten won't replace that love...just form more love...

what an awesome daddy cat! My Harvey is four years older than my Sammie. when she was a kitten, he would lie on the sofa and dangle his tail down for her to play with. He also taught her how to wrassle - I could see he was going easy on her when they would play-fight, then every few days would show her a new trick.

Yes it is pretty cute but it all teaches us how amzing God is for giving animals the instincs that they have.I really like to go to the zoo and see the monkeys, they crack me up!!
