She should be able to drink from a regular cup at her age.
Are most kids in the Philippines still taking a bottle at her age? In the US most kids stop taking a bottle around 1 year old but I think that is cultural. I see a lot of Hispanic children who are much older still drinking a bottle. The only thing I would worry about is the condition of her teeth.

I dont think it could effect her big time, but I might try weining her off of it and into a normal cup if you cant have a sippy cup....just a thought. i do wonder if it could effect her teeth. I know thumbsuckers adn babies on bottles at an extremely late age can be mor elikely to have crooked teeth adn cross bites, etc. But i wouldnt worry too much, but try gewtting her to take it from a normal cup liek the kind you drink from. My son is 2 and he does REALLY well on those. Try putting water in her bottle and then a little milk in the cup give her the choice. show her its for the Big girls. Good Luck!!!! oh and its not bad, especially if that the custom down there. It just takes some kids longer than others for different things.

it is past time to wean her off that bottle it can really effect her teeth to have a bottle that long, although back in the day mother's breast feed till some children where four or older. It is really up to you aside from mouth issues, it won't hurt her health. Do what is comfortable to the both of you, maybe start by only giving her the bottle a few times a day, cut back and get her to drink from a regular cup. Good luck

Yes it's bad. When a child is nearly 4, it's a case of the parent not wanting to deal with an upset child. Put the bottles in the recyle bin and take her shopping for cups with lids and straws. Or let her practice drinking outside in the backyard with a play plastic pitcher and cup. She's young, but not a baby anymore. You'll laugh about this later and wonder why you didn't do it 2 years ago.

Try feeding her from a plastic cup which has her favourite character. Be prepared she will drink less milk at the beginning. Hopefully, she will get used to the cup in time. I understand that continued bottle-feeding is bad for children's teeth. Here in Singapore, we have children who drink from bottles until they are 5 although this is getting less common nowadays.

You need to get rid of the bottle. She should have been drinking out of a cup before she was 2 yrs old. Thats just laziness on your part.
The bottle will rot her teeth out and cause her orthodontic problems later.

She's almost 4 years old. YES a bottle is bad for her. At this age, she should be able to drink from a regular cup like you and I drink from. I wouldn't let her run around the house and play with one in her hand (would probably spill it), but to drink with meals and snacks would work fine.
At this age, she should also be eating with a fork and spoon.

She sounded me taking a bottle anymore, I would just let her use a cup, she is old enough now no to have to use a sippy cup. I would just wein her off slowly, she how she does on a cup once she does well take her off the bottle.

Her continued drinking from a bottle could make her teeth come in crooked, giving her an overbite larger than normal, and can cause teeth to overcrowd her mouth. She should not be bottle feeding. That is bad. Good luck, Sugar.

the answer that her teeth could get messed up. this coming from a man that has kids. far as the kid wanting milk all kids want milk. "sippys" n pacifiers are available in about every country but thats no important. by almost 4 the kid should be at the table with mom n dad eating table food.
