I am now in Montreal. I want to go with my girlfriend to Toronto and spend at least a day there. I want to stop at Niagara Falls for at least a few hours or enough to take some pictures and enjoy the view. The stop at Niagara Falls may be in the return trip. Please advise me on which bus company to buy the tickets from so that the trip is as cheap as possible. Give me any other advise that you think is important. Thanks a lot!!

Niagara Falls is only 1 1/2 hours away from Toronto by car.

If you want to go to Niagara Falls BEFORE you get to Toronto then you can get to it by driving south of Lake Ontario through New York State.

You can't stop from Montreal to Toronto and see Niagara Falls as they are past where you are going. The falls are about 2-3 hours past Toronto.

Greyline tours will take you, however there are plenty of other companies. Make sure you take the boat ride "Maid of the Mist" to see the falls up close and personal.
