At any time i have to go to sleep, i work out for like 20 mins (pullups, pushups, lifting, bicep curls usually), then i sleep like a baby in like 5 mins after i hit the bed... Is this healthy, or bad. I don't build up adrenaline or anything, i just go to sleep easier. And i want to start drinking a "whey protein" shake right before i work out, then work out, then sleep. While i sleep, muscles grow, don't they?

Yes, muscle recover while you sleep but the recover the torn musles that you tear while you lift and that is what makes them grow. Whey protein is good but mixing Whey and Soy is the better. But you should drink it before and after. Also make sure that your getting atleast 7 to 8 hours of sleep a night. I have been lifting for 2 year on and off and have gain 20 pounds. Some people are different and it might not take you that long or it might take you longer to put on muscle if that is what you are trying to do. But the 20 mins before you sleep shouldn't effect you much.

It could have to do with the fact that you are still very young. It's usually better to relax before you go to bed... so when you find that it's no longer this easy to go to sleep, you'll know it's time to change that routine... remember to drink at least 8 glasses of fresh water a day. Nothing else compares as they all have their own agendas in the body... Only water does what water does... Good health to you... One tip to feel, look and sleep great is to eat black-eyed peas (beans) every day for the last meal (with the last meal) as it transforms sugars into energy for the next day!

i dont think that u will harm urself but working out usually increases ur energy. i would definitely not drink the protein shake before bed because that would increase Ur energy. by the way muscles recover while u sleep they do not grow.
