That is a pretty tough one. Just always be polite, don't talk to much when you are over his house. Answer them honestly, but don't forward your whole life history. It will be up to them to like you. You can not make people like you. Some parents just don't think anyone is good enough for their children and it has nothing to do with you. They probably want their son to concentrate on school and get good grades, so he gets into a good college. If their son gets too worried about you his grades will drop and he won't be as successful as they want him to be. This may be one reason. But just be nice to them, after a while they will get used to you, and hopefully like you more. You sound like a very nice girl to me to be so concerned about how they feel. Good Luck to you, and your boyfriend.

You should be who you are and not try to change your personality to get close to them.
Be the good and polite person you are. Talk to them about things that may interest them. Be interested in them, but try not to overdo it just to get them to like you. They will see right through that.
Be polite and show them your good morals. They would probably like it when you compliment them on things and themselves. You probably shouldn't be going in his room alone with him, or really kissing him in front of them for now. I think hugs are good, or a peck on the cheek.
You didn't say how long you have been dating your boyfriend.
Don't take them for granted. Invite them over to your house to meet your parents. Have a simple dinner like spaghetti. Get to know them in your own enviornment too.
Have fun and don't do anything I wouldn't do. :)

The girlfriends I had that got along best with my parents shared similar interests. Sports, t.v. shows, views on the community and family life. It sounds strange but baby pictures always get mothers chatting about good times. Hope that helps

Speaking as a parent of a teenager, your previous answers are right on. Just be yourself. Respect them AND THEIR SON. Let them get to know you. It just takes time. They can be just as unsure about how to deal with it as you are. Also remember, they were teenagers once and went thru the same thing. I dated some girls whose parents were just scary and some whose parents were really cool about me.

the bigger question is how attractive do you find your boyfriends dad? if you hooked up with his dad atleast one side of his parents would be more stoked on you. or you could just take his parents to Taco Bell because i dont know anyone who doesnt like a nacho del grande. exactly nobody doesnt like a nacho del grande.

I had the same kind of problem. Try spending some time around his house and eating dinner with his family once and a while. It REALLY helps. =)

WHENEVER YOU GO TO THEIR HOUSE, BE POLITE, TRY TO ASK FIRST BEFORE DOING ANYTHING(LIKE MA'AM CAN I USE THE BATHROOM, ETC.), BE YOURSELF BUT NOT TO HE EXTENT THAT YOUR GOIN' TO TREAT THEM LIKE YOUR BUDDIES, HELP THEM FIX THE DINING TABLE AFTER YOU EAT(OR EVEN BEFORE), SMILE AT THEM, AND LISTEN WHENEVER THEIR SAYING SOMETHING. JUST BE COOL.
