my friend and i want to "play" the ouija board. we are in middle school and made a home made one but havent used it yet, we read some bad expeiences, and have changed our minds if we rip it up and throw it away now, are we good?

they are satanic, they call on evil Spirits to make them preform, I'd stay away, and talk to your parents and or pastor concerning this.

A ouija board or "witch board" is only what you believe it is. So, if you and your friend decide it is evil, then you probably will have a bad experience. If you decide it is good, then you will probably have a good experience. I used one in middle school and am convinced that my friend was manipulating the darned thing. Nothing terrible happened. If bad things happened to kids that used ouija boards, why would they sell them at Wal-mart and Toys-R-Us? Christians will tell you they are evil, but what if you were Christian and asked for God to channel him (or her) self through the board to answer you? That is what a prayer is, right? Do whatever you will. Have fun and be a teenager for as long as you can. I'm 45 and still only 14 inside! :) Grab life by the horns and run with it.

The Bible says, "Be sober, be vigilant for your adversary the devil as a roaring lion walketh about seeking whom he MAY devour." Dealing with the dark spiritual world is SERIOUS it is not a game and not for those who are just curious.
My dad had a ouija board when he was a teenager, it was given to him and he was just curious about it. His mother said to get rid of it but when he tried to throw it away it started showing up in different parts of the house. So he tried to burn it in a burn barrell- at first it wouldn't burn so he put gasoline on it- it burned up but he could hear it scream, like it was angry. IT didn't want to be gotten rid of- because it is a way for demons to interact with humans. Git rid of it ASAP- the sooner, the better. Do Not Use It- the more control you let it have the harder it will be to get rid of it.

Ouiga boards are bad news. Evil spirits are behind the way they work. I worked with one once, and it would answer all questions except the ones I asked it about the Lord Jesus Christ's death and resurrection, His shed blood for mankind. When I asked it these questions it would roam all over the place, and NEVER give us the right answers. It will admit Jesus is the Son of God, but it will NOT admit He was crucified and shed His blood for us!!! Since the devil and evil spirits hate Christ and His shed blood for our sins, naturally the wicked spirits who control the answers to the ouija board are extremely agitated when Christ and His blood are brought up. GOOD !! Wonderful! HOORAY !! They are no match for the Lord Jesus and the blood He shed for us. I strongly suggest you BURN the ouija board! Then you need to ask God to forgive you for toying with things of the devil. Then you need to invite the Lord Jesus into your heart, and pledge to Him that you will follow Him the rest of your life. Get into reading the Bible......find Christians who love God, and find a good Bible teaching church. Blessings to you....God does love you, and so do I.

Destroy it! Like they said it is a witch board. It is associated with the occult and it is not a harmless toy. Do not play with something you do not understand. You don't know me so you don't have to take my advice but you don't know these other people either and they may try to cause you harm. Ask you mom or dad or you preacher about the subject.Don't play with things you don't understand.

It's just a toy. You will not be contacting "evil spirits". You won't be contacting any spirits. Anything bad you've heard was pure nonsense. The board does work but it's nothing supernatural. It works via a phenomenon called the ideomotor effect. I encourage you to enlighten yourself about it so you don't believe old wives tales and silly stories about demons. Here's a link.

What's the big deal? I played a couple times when I was a kid and I'm okay. It's all in your mind. You've been watching too many horror movies. Your guilt will be the bad experience for you.... whether it is the guilt of disobeying your parents or the guilt from disobeying your religious rules.

i can just tell you my experiance. i made a homemade on too when i was a teenager. needless to say, it didnt work. and i really tried. i heard all those bad experiances too, i wouldnt do it now thats for sure. i am just afraid i would invite some unwelcome visiters and they could stay around you for years.
and no matter how much you think you know what you are doing, you are messing with cosmic forces and they have ages on you girl..........blessings to you girl

If you haven't used it then it's just a bit of cardboard or timber with writing on it. Pretty much whenever it isn't in use that's what it is. I won't say it's either wise or not, but if you ever consider investigating them again, research basic psychic and spiritual protection first, it's the safer way.
