That's the sun. It's a ball of gas, mostly hydrogen and helium that is the center of the solar system. It heats and lights the earth.

And by the way it's spelled H-A-N-D-L-E

So, you are saying that God killed the thousands in New Orleans, and throughout the world in natural disasters? It's my understanding that Christians as well as others were killed, and that the killing by your god was indiscriminate.

You seem also to be saying that the false color images by NASA of a sun are proof of hell.

You logic is quite astounding. I'm certain that if I'm ever moved to convert that you can consider the seed you planted today as the straw on the back of the camel that might make it though the eye of a needle.

I love the gospel of fear that you Christians keep repeating.

BTW... I can keep my finger in an oven for a minute; not, perhaps on the hot parts inside the oven, but certainly within one at 400 degrees or so. In fact, the USAF did an expirement, where a person was in an oven, along with a tray of cookies. The man was able to stay in that oven until the cookies baked, with no lasting ill effects.

First off, if you want to know more on the subject I'm about to discuss, you may e-mail me at my address. Now I want you to go look in your bible and find the word Hell in it, some versions may carry the word in it as does the American Standard Version. In this Version, 2 of Peter Chapter 2 verse 4 says "For if God Spared not angels when they sinned, but cast them down to Hell, and committed them to pits of darkness, to be reserved unto Judgement, they are not in a hell made of fire and brimstone, but darkness. they are not there because they have been judged, but are yet To be jugded, what does this tell you? Is our perception of what hell is what it really seems? the original Greek word for that was translated into hell was 'tartaros'. It meant a mental state where once, in it, all spiritual light and knowledgde ceased to penetrate, for it was total darkness. See also The Epistle of Jude, verse 6 says that God has kept them "everlasting bonds under darkness unto the Jugdement of The Great Day." Being not able to perceive gods plans for being in that Darkness, they cannot interfere with his prophesies that are clearly stated in the Bible. What his plans for the earth are. (Isaiah 65:17,21-25; Daniel 2:44; Revelation 21:3,4)
How will we fit in these plans. (Psalms 37:10,11; John 5:25,26) And other things as well. More questions? feel free to e-mail me at any time, day or night.

So your kind and loving and benevolent God made Katrina, which killed over 1,000 people and destroyed the Christ Episcopal Church (among other places of worship)?

And yet you still are trying to convince others that He's worthy of worship?

You need to talk to these people, who are arguing that Katrina was "a natural disaster—nature gone awry".

"When disaster strikes, God is there, suffering in his people, and working in his people. Therefore, when disaster strikes, God’s people can be found standing with him, not casting blame, but helping out, making a positive difference, loving as Jesus loves. "

So if God was suffering in the hurricane that He sent, then he's a masochist as well as a sadist.

I'll pass, thank you.

Hell is only what we create for us on this plane during our lives. All those disasters you speak of are not God's punishment. They happened because the soul of Mother Earth is enraged at humans for wreaking so much destruction over her body.

I am a Christian and I believe in heaven, hell, Satan, etc. I believe that God sent Jesus to die on the cross for my sins, and I believe that he rose again on the third day in a new body. I believe that Jesus is coming back someday to take all believers to heaven before the 7-year tribulation. And I believe that when I die, I will be in heaven forever with my savior Christ Jesus!!

Do you realize that when you post stuff like this it only reinforces the atheists belief that we are all mental retards waiting for our cousin to become twelve years old so we can marry them.

Will you stop putting my God to open shame and go do something productive with your life.
