I don't really care what a person's heritage is... our citizenship is made up of all different nationalities, and combinations of nationalities. A citizen is a citizen in my book - they've either been born here, or have taken an oath of allegiance to our government, so its fine by me. But, I don't care for hyphens. Americans are Americans.

Who cares. You either are an American or not. Race does not matter in this diverse nation. But for friggin sake, be legal. If people were not coming here illegally to have a feeding frenzy off of Americans and then get offered a lame fine for breaking the law, no one would have an issue.

Omar NO!! Not all native born Latino U.S Citizen are Mexican-Americans!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Where do you get this Info from? Their are mix of LATINO'S who are From European [Spain] countries Latin America Central and so on !! If you don't know than STOP ASKING A DUMB QUESTION !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You are an immigrant until you do those citizenship tests, and at that point, you are a citizen. I don't know what you are asking, but the way English works is simple for all of us: you are an immigrant until you pass those citizenship tests. Per the association with your heritage. The African Americans wanted us to call them a variety of names.. and one group did not agree with another.. there were very significant ethnic hostilities and people just began referring to a group of people who joined to make a statement by their heritage. Soo.. European Americans and so forth.

Any time we as Americans have to hire teachers to teach you illegals how to even speak English much less read and write it, it cost us money and I'm tired of it! Stop pissing away my tax dollars!!!!!!!
