I just named my baby daughter Veronica and I have also seen that it is of Latin origin and means true image. I just always liked the name and also loved the French version, Veronique, but thought that was a little too over the top and didn't go well with our surname. Gorgeous name though and I'm sure she's a gorgeous girl - just like my little one!
