The Medjugorge apparitions have not been verified by the Catholic Church, yet quite literally that place has something up with it, I mean my father took a picture that has an obvious silhouette of the Virgin Mary (it was taken of the ocean), there are rosary beads that change from ordinary colors to pure gold, so I believe something is up there. In the most famous verified (by the Catholic Church) Marian apparition, Fatima, Mary focused on global affairs, dealing with humanity as a whole rather than individuals. That being said it would sure be nice if Mary could help with that case.

I highly recomend the book "Apparitions at Madjugorje: Divine or Demonic"
It is a Q & A book that addresses the issue of the apparitions from a Biblical perspective.
I am ot doubting that people are seeing something there , but based on what is being heard from this apparition, whatever it is, it is NOT Mary.
This book does nothing to insult or demean Mary and her Biblical role and example of faithfulness and obedience. It does however address directly claims made about and by this apparition and coming to a completely scriptural conclusion.
If you cannot get your hands on the book and have any specific questions regarding these apparitions, feel free to email me.
As for the kidnapping, it is heartbreaking, but taking into consideration the nature of this apparition, no answers, at least no helpful or pure answers are going to come from that source.

The alleged apparitions in Medjugore have never been officially approved by the Catholic Church, although the great number of faithful pilgrims who have travelled there to pray, have certainly made it a holy site, whether the Blessed Virgin Mary actually appears there, or not.

The Medjugorge apparitions of 'Mary' are not authentic and have not been approved by the Roman Catholic church. Other apparitions like the ones at Fatima, Lourdes etc have been investigated, deemed authentic as being true apparitions of Our Lady and have been approved by the Catholic church.

Is she still appearing there? I hadn't heard much about it for quite some time now, so I figured she'd stopped showing up. I don't know what the Church has said about these supposed appearances. Were they given the "seal of approval?" Or was it all just hype?

those apparitions are no longer of god yet of devil! devil is clever sufficient to misinform the persons into believing her so-talked approximately as message. The Lord's final notice to mankind is His notice, the Bible, and that's finished in each and every factor. we are warned to no longer have self assurance each and every thing that seems to be a miracle because of the fact the Lord tells us that devil can carry out them too. this entire corporation on the subject of the veneration of Mary is a entire beat up all started through the Roman Catholic church. No the place in the Bible are we informed to the two worship mary of venerate her. as quickly as we examine the Scriptures, we hit upon it astonishing that there is next to no longer something pronounced approximately her. the completed concentration is to be on the Lord Jesus and not Mary or all and sundry else. devil has a container day with lots of people who refuse to hearken to the notice of God and that they finally end up pursuing all way of doctrine which in the top in basic terms ensures that they finally end up in hell. we hit upon in Revelation that for the duration of the super Tribulation, devil will provide potential to a statue and reason it to communicate and the persons will hail Him as God yet those exact same human beings, had they have examine the Scriptures, could have been clever to this and from such grew to become away. we are specific we are in the final of the final days and that the Lord might desire to be lower back at any time. The Lord holds anybody in charge for examining His notice and for people who refuse to accomplish that, they are with out excuse in the event that they permit themselves to be deceived through so-talked approximately as apperitions and miracles. the full thought of a individual acquainting themselves with the Bible is so that they are going to be clever to the works of devil and from such draw back. as quickly as having examine the Scriptures, it is going to become very sparkling that mary, the pope or any of the saints can no longer help all and sundry because of the fact the only "door" to the Lord is thru Jesus Christ as our intense priest. the father won't and could no longer pay attention any prayer that's presented to Him by the different "mediator" as we are patently informed that there is in basic terms one mediator between guy and God, Jesus Christ.
