Vh1 has transformed from:
Inception to the 80's - Older crowd/softer music for a mature crowd music videos
90's-comatose to pop up videos in the late 90's (great sleeper success)
New Millenium - Innovative reality shows - every one has a chance to somehow audition and possibly be on Vh1. I know. I was in one of those shows (Shh... Dont ask which one)

If you are referring to pop-up video as something that happened "back in the day" then you are officially too young to be anything close to an old fogey. On the other hand, maybe you are indeed becoming a bit more mature in your taste...but I wouldn't drag out the rocking chair just yet!

Trust me its not you. VH1 and MTV went from something good to the lower level of bad. At one time they were the best thing on cable tv.Now something just to remember.

You're probably maturing. That's not a bad thing. :) Although, watching VH1 (or MTV for that matter) wouldn't exactly make you the mature one on the block... just more mature than you used to be. :)

Well , glad I'm not the only one who thinks this way .
Time changes everyone . I don't care for the music they have out today, I think its just too crazy or cheezie .
But they want to sell music so I guess its what people like to see and hear .

I don't know about "cooler" but they are attempting to appeal to a younger market. As for you getting older, everyone does..it's a part of life.

I have digital cable, and on there, there is more than one version of VH1..There's a classic rock version, a soul version, a country version, etc.
