Dear friend, this is a VERY SERIOUS issue!! I just recently lost a neighbor to something like this. They should have some kind of program for battered women. You should have cancelled your court date until you knew you were SAFE. YOU ARE NOT SAFE!! Even if you stay with family right now, he will NOT GIVE UP!!! I've seen this happen tooo many times. Even if you get help threw your court date, YOU WILL BE WATCHING OVER YOUR BACK, EVERY MINUTE!! This actually happened to me. I waited it out as long as I could & finally,TG he was sent to jail for others things!!!!!! then I moved into another county & kept a low profile with my kids, so there for they didn't go see him for about 1 1/2 yrs. He has figured out what city, just not actually where yet. I think you need to move away,ASAP!! It bites having to move, BUT IT COULD SAVE YOUR LIFE!!!!! I WISH YOU WELL ON YOUR LONG JOURNEY!!!!! WISH YOU WERE CLOSE ENOUGH FOR HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's horrible you aren't getting the help that should be there, without the authorities there to protect you it seems your only option is to go somewhere he can't get you. A friend's house that he doesn't know where it is, or family (if there's nowhere like that then spring for a hotel room for the night). Take other people with to your hearing and keep the authorities notified on all of your steps so after something does happen it is proven you did everything right and aren't liable. I'm sure you have already gotten an order of protection, but get another emergency one that includes his death threats. Don't carry a weapon, it will probably just get you injured. And if you can get him put in jail for any other reason then you know for sure you're safe. I wish you well and I hope you're ok.

My cousin is going by an abusive marriage she has shown our police dept %of the bruises besides as her police record. yet our county has completed no longer something approximately it they placed her suited lower back in the abode with the abuser. there is toddlers in touch that have heard their dad threaten their mom in many fights they are petrified of him. Does all and sundry comprehend who can help with this occasion. we've tried the lawyer regular, all they are able to do is compensate her for the counseling, scientific charges and something related to the kinfolk violence case. Any concepts may well be very much favored.

Call a domestic violence hot line. The number should be in the front of your phone book. If not, call a rape crisis hot line and ask where you can get help. Go to a battered women's shelter and ask for assistance.

As soon as you get to the court, notify the court officers or court security, that he has made threats, and that you are in fear for your life. When he arrives he will be thoroughly searched. Also they should notify the local police of a possible problem.

Call the cops. Don't be alone. Go somewhere where he does not know where you are. Keep fighting. Eventually you will win and he will go to prison. Probably for something totally unrelated to you. He is a loser.
Go to court and get your'e kid. Get a lawyer if you have to.
Don't be afraid , just be smart. Don't contact him directly.
If you keep calling and showing up in court, the system will work for you. Good luck.

Call the police, and ask if a magistrate can meet you in the morning to give you safe escort to your hearing. If your ex tries anything in the presence of a magistrate, you will have all of the backing and support you need to get things filed against him, without question.

TOMORROW??? Only NOW you are asking for some suggestions?
Have a friend go with you, and have them go inside and ask for an escort into the building. Also, though you can't go inside with it, get a can of mace and don't hesitate to use it if you feel your life is in danger from this person.

So sorry.....the current democratic congress cares more about your ex-husband who is an ILLEGAL than he does you.

Check into a domestic violent shelter and try to obtain help from there.

I am so sad for you!
