Hey just wondering when you put kids to bed to u make them knw that just becasue they are in bed it dooes not mean the world stops? Like let them see that u will still be doing your normal things (cleaning cooking whatever) while they sleep and there is nothing to be afraid of or do the opposite because they might think they are missing out on something when everyone else is awake and they have to go to sleep??

my kids know life goes on with out them. I have bought them up to know that life does not revolve around them. If they ask what I did while they are at school I tell them. I am not worried on what they think they are missing out on. And to be honest they are fine with it

Once I put my daughter to bed, I do continue to do my normal things. I shut her door about 3/4 of the way, and I don't make excessive noise, like running the vacuum, etc. , but I do continue with my normal activities.

I do what I need to after they go to bed. I usually try to do my housework during the day and include them so that they learn that there is no magical cleaning fairy who returns the house to livable when they go to bed. The time after they go to sleep is my time to relax, watch grown-up TV, drink a cold drink while its still cold, etc. I don't shut down the house, but I don't vacuum after bedtime unless its necessary.

i think its probaly best just to stick to the same routine everynight.. baths, brush teeth, pajamas, and bedtime,, maybe a story. Just stick to the same routine and the kids will know wat to expect everynight. When they get out of bed at night to see whats going on just bring them back tuck them in and then go back out. just continue doing that. They will settle into this and figure out that there not missing anything.

I do not specifically make a point of telling them that the world isn't going to stop, no.
