That really depends a lot the detail, color, artist, etc. But a very general estimate is around less than an hour. One of mine is 5 in by 4 in and it has a lot of outline. Took a total of about 45 minutes.

there is no way to tell you that because we don't know what you are getting or how fast your artist is. how detailed is the tattoo?
i have a skull that is almost 4 inches long on my foot and it took 2 hours but i also have a korean takeout box on my other foot that is just over 7 inches long and it took 2 1/2 hours. it really all depends on the tattoo itself.

Impossible to say without knowing what it is, what the color scheme would be etc. Tattoo work isn't like paint by numbers that you can crank out at some pre-determined rate.
