there is 2 loose cables under the disc tray on my ps2 what do i do

Are you talking about the 2 orange flat cables? You will have to reconnect them to their proper position on the motherboard or else you will not be able to use your PS2.

If its the ribbon cables they will be hard to reconnect. You have to look into the ps2 and find the port back in it then stick the cable in to the only empty slots.

if you havent broken the warranty then you can take it back to a store or ask at a game place gamestop etc...

bring it to game stop or send it back to PlayStation or just go to PS on line and then support duh.
