Christians are ever so slowly mending their extreme behavior--they no longer burn witches at the stake--or stretch you on the rack till your limbs break--they have now accepted that the world is not flat & unmovable as their Bible informs them--a lot of them still believe in the young earth propaganda--we keep exposing their pedophile priests & shonky perverted tele-evangelists .

Abortion kills innocent children. Global warming is a result of variations in the output of the sun. The idea that man made "greenhouse gases" are the cause of the temperature going up is a farce peddled by scare mongers. Yes and no. Yes, a gathering of stupidity is quite dangerous. But I've noticed more or less a 50/50 mix of thumbs-up to thumbs down on Atheist comments... so there are some free-thinkers out there.

Yes, which is why most Atheists are more knowledgeable about matters of religion than the so-called practicers of same. And keep in mind many Atheists came from religious backgrounds: George Carlin, for example, was raised Catholic. I was raised Christian. And not long ago, I just responded to someone who stated that they were loosing their faith. It's happening all the time... but the best way to be educated about religion is by direct exposure. Atheists aren't going away anytime soon.
