Christians are ever so slowly mending their extreme behavior--they no longer burn witches at the stake--or stretch you on the rack till your limbs break--they have now accepted that the world is not flat & unmovable as their Bible informs them--a lot of them still believe in the young earth propaganda--we keep exposing their pedophile priests & shonky perverted tele-evangelists .
You never know---one day they may even start obeying Christ and give up seeing sin in others--by judging & condemning them--hope springs eternal!!

"And as "christians" are far more concerned with stopping abortion than global warming, it is extremely unlikely they will do anything about the environmental catastrophes looming on the horizon."
Abortion kills innocent children. Global warming is a result of variations in the output of the sun. The idea that man made "greenhouse gases" are the cause of the temperature going up is a farce peddled by scare mongers. Of couse, since I'm a Christian maybe you think that I'm just not smart enough to realize the truth like you claim to. So why don't you check out this link and then get back to me?

"As long as 'christianity' is recruiting from the shallow end of the gene pool, what can the rest of us do?"
Stay the hell out of the shallow end, for one!
"Obviously the more stupid people 'christianity' recruits, the more dangerous it becomes..."
Yes and no. Yes, a gathering of stupidity is quite dangerous. But I've noticed more or less a 50/50 mix of thumbs-up to thumbs down on Atheist comments... so there are some free-thinkers out there.
"And let's face it, education is an uphill battle against the religious indoctrination that starts at birth."
Yes, which is why most Atheists are more knowledgeable about matters of religion than the so-called practicers of same. And keep in mind many Atheists came from religious backgrounds: George Carlin, for example, was raised Catholic. I was raised Christian. And not long ago, I just responded to someone who stated that they were loosing their faith. It's happening all the time... but the best way to be educated about religion is by direct exposure. Atheists aren't going away anytime soon.

Aren't we impressed with ourselves. I suppose you think you come from the higher end of the gene pool. The one that wouldn't for a moment believe in all this religion nonsense.
I wonder who died and left you in charge of deciding what is more important: abortion or the myth of global warming as we're being sold it? Not to be misunderstood, I am pro-choice.
Was not your cynicism and your superior thoughts of yourself "indoctrinated in you from birth?" Or did you just come up with this on your own recently? Perhaps Christians do not have all the answers, but neither do you.
The problem with the types of Christians you are talking about and you is that you both insist that you are absolutely right. THAT is the danger to the rest of us.

humorous. I pronounced on the subject of the gene pool life-look after no longer being on accountability the day Kirk Cameron replaced into born, now i think I might desire to declare an identical element approximately you. What a tragic 2d in historic past. Hitler replaced into no longer a christian. He replaced right into a catholic. i might anticipate you to comprehend the version on an identical time as you're on considered one of your properly-known, traditionally-challenged rants. you may "see" the alledged destiny "environmental catastrophes" looming on the horizon that have been ridiculed because of the fact the political fodder they are, yet you laughably regard christianity's declare of destiny and drawing near judgements from God as delusion? The goofiness and silly consistency of you human beings is astonishing to declare the very least!!!! are you able to in all probability be from now on relaxing and stupid than you're????

You have it all figured out, doncha?
One problem. The more liberal and (supposedly) educated, the less children (part of which is due to being pro-abortion).
Conservative Christians have a higher birth rate.
What that means is, there will be less of your ilk to deal with in the future.

Son, there is no deep side of the pool. People, irregardless of religion or the lack thereof, are animals with intellect. They can be better or worse than the other beasts out there depending on mood you catch them in.

If that is the extent of knowledge regarding "Christianity," then maybe you need to expand your horizons. By the way, what was the religion of all those Americans and Brits who liberated the Nazi death camps? Hindu?

I've posed several questions for atheists, both serious and humorous and I most certainly do not have the impression they are very intelligent people; most of them can't even read and only exhibit one emotion: hatred. You are no exception.
