you cant lose love handles or belly fat with situps - they build muscle but dont burn fat - so they would make those areas only look bigger.
the only fat burning exercise is cardio
find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Dieting will help a lot. Eat healthy, lots of fruits and veggies. No junk food, no soda...not even diet. Stick to water and herbal tea. No more fast food.

Exercising is a must, dieting can only do so much.

Those are fat deposits on the sides at the waist.

Try trunk twists, but mainly do cardio and cut down on calories bigtime, to make you burn your own excess fat stores for energy.

Any exercise that burns calories will help burn fat, thus making your love handles disappear. But I think running, Swimming are the best exercises to burn fat.

a good workout that helped me lose love handles were oblique twists.

Liposuction. Those machine things that vibrate don't do anything for your abs. Just do sit-ups. You lazy fool.

well try tae-bo,it`s really fun and focuses on the whole body try to find tae-bo with billy blanks tapes,i lost 7 pounds the first week i started!!!give it a shot ^_^ hope i helped...
