What medicine is it? Bleeding as side effect could be caused by some medications. Example: digestive tract irritants like Voltaren may cause bleeding if you had ulcers, anticoagulants like heparin as aspirin may cause bleeding also if there is an existing ulcers or lesions. Coughing blood means the bleeding comes from the gastrointestinal tract or the respiratory tract. We can't tell without appropriate examination but best to stop taking your new medication and go see a doctor at once.

Hemoptysis or coughing out blood is never a good sign. There are a lot of possible problems related to this symptom. So consult your doctor and stop the medicine you are taking as of the moment.

That could be really bad. You should ask a doctor about it. It could also just be a side affect of the medicine, but you should ask a doctor or even a pharmacist maybe?

coughing out blood is not normal... you should immediately consult your doctor... although this may be a side effect or a body reaction, you should seek medical attention...

no it normal and you should go see your doctor and tell him/her if thats a side effect.
