Nope, it does not make sense to me. I do not believe in god or hell but however I am going to rebut this stupid theory. First of all, if a person who kill and commit so much sin in his life while finally due the date he is going to die, he decide to repent to god sincerely then he go to heaven. Or someone who do nothing evil or good in his life and go to church and believe in god and go to heaven. As compare to example, Mohammed Ghandi who save lot of people in India fighting for rights or some activist who spend their entire life go around saving animal, mother earth or poor children from suffering. Or some people who spent their life in going around poor country to give medical care. Or imaging Mother Theresa do not believe in god but spent all her life giving people a mercy death just because all of those people who don't believe in god, don't tell me they are going to hell for all the wonderful good deeds they contribute to this world. People who do not believe in god will go to hell is a pure b***s***

I am a non christian and I serious challenge anyone who can rebut my theory. I only believe a person deed in this world is judge by his action and behaviour of what good or bad deed he have done personally not by believing in god.

Personally, I think Hell will be filled with people who condemn others to Hell or shove their beliefs down other people's throats.
There is a famous philosophical theory called Pascal's wager which states it is a better "bet" to believe that God exists than not to believe in God, because the expected value of believing ( Heaven) is greater than the expected value of not believing (rotting in a grave and no Heaven). I just think you should be nice and live your life as if the only reason you are here is to help others. And I think God is going to be just fine with that when I die.

Where are we going, and why am I in this handbasket?

Which god? Some gods are evil and send people who don't think they're real to hell. Some gods are much nicer. Some gods don't even run a heaven/hell operation.

But it doesn't matter, since no gods really exist, so nobody gods to hell.

Nobody can prove any gods, much less a specific god, exist; many people will tell you their god exists but no others, but will never be able to prove it, even if they think so. Some will threaten you with eternal pain or promise eternal joy to get you to believe in their god; these are all stories, created for people who were scared long before we understood the universe. Now we have no more reason for these superstitions.

It all depends on who you talk to. The Christians will say yes - the only way to get into heaven after dying is to believe in God. Now most people I know will say no (most of my friends are pagans/atheists etc.) The reason being is that we don't believe hell exists, so it's impossible to go there.

People who don't trust in the sacrifice that God made by sending Jesus to pay their sin debt go to Hell.

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.

Believing in God doesn't save anyone.

James 2:19 You believe that God is one; you do well. Even the demons believe--and shudder!

In my belief YES. The reason is that ALL mankind has sinned and fallen short. We are inherintly bad and this is human nature if you doubt this put two small children in a crib with one toy. Jesus came to this earth from a virgin birth to bypass the seed of sin and lived a perfect life as an example of what we should be. He was able to do this because he is the Son of God and gave his life as a sacrifice for our sins so that all who believe in him and accept him as their savior would be forgiven of there sins and be able to enter into Heaven. Heaven is not something we can obtain by being good or doing good deeds it is only accessible by believing in Jesus Christ and being forgiven of our sins because we can't save ourselves. This is a very brief answer but all of what I am saying can be found in the new testament of the Holy Bible.

John 17:3 "And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true GOD, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.

Mark 16:16 " He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.

Hope this helps amen.

I would have to say no. That's like asking if people who don't believe in enlightenment will come back as dung beetles. The idea is absurd to you, isn't it? It goes the same for someone who does not believe in god.

Because their God is petty, jealous and unrealistically demanding. (Yes I know, all the Christians give a thumbs down) All faiths believe in penance, but they take it to a new level.

If said God is real, then yes. They go to the infernal pit created for the Devil and his angels.
