I was wondering if anyone from Australia has visited the Australia Zoo since Steve Irwins death?Has anyone heard how Terri and Bindi are doing?.His death was so tragic. The animal world has truely lost a good friend.Thoughts?????

Yes I am a big fan.
I've been to his zoo about 6 times over the last 8 years - but not since his death.
Australia has had to deal with a great-lost losing Steve. It was hard enough the morning it happened not far from where I live and knowing he was just down the road in the Cairns hospital…
Where it happened…only a month earlier my sons school class was there at that very spot on a diving excursion – and I was worried out of my head that day!

There are better zoos in Australia than Irwin's zoo starting with Taronga Park in Sydney and Melbourne Zoo. Far from being a friend to animals, the man should have been prosecuted for his behaviour particularly in the Antarctic. Just about everyone I know cheered the stingray.

Steve was a great man - someone who really cared about this planet and absolutely loved animals. We really miss him.
Terri and Bindi are doing fine. They're strong and are keeping Steve's dream alive. My hat goes off to them.

dont know about being a fan - but I did like and admire the guy heaps....
his personality, his passion, his sense of humour, his love of wildlife and the environment and most of all his love for family and friends and co-workers.
he will be sadly missed - and it was a tragedy - and yes I did cry when he passed away - and I will go and visit one day
