Cut your calories to about 1200 a day. Don't eat 3 hours before bed. Start a cardio/weigt training routine. It takes disipline, and self control. You can do it!

The easiest thing you can do is ease yourself into a gradual lifestyle change. When you want a snack, get a snack but make sure its healthy, like a vegetable or fruit, nothing that comes from a box or wrapper! Also, get walking for starters. Ease yourself into a routine. Don't make any drastic changes right away.
Also, try to portion your meals to the amounts you see in a regular frozen dinner. Those portions will help you lose weight. Don't forget about making sure you have enough vitamins and water in your system.

Half the time when you feel hungry, it's because your body actually needs water -- it's how your body lets you know. So drink a glass of water and see if it holds you. If it doesn't, then grab an apple or banana or yogurt as a snack.

These tips should get you moving in the right direction.

Good luck.

I am a mother with a child in the same boat as you . We went to a dietican and I can list some of her hints . I probably misled my daughter as I believed in the low carb way of eating - that is fine for adults BUT not teens . So here goes - PLAN your food - draw up a chart in a book and write down your plan . When you have a plate of food it should be half veges , quarter carb , quarter protien . Make sure mum cuts off all the fat off meat , do not eat the skin/stuffing . Experiment with raw /cooked veges - don't forget salad . Take tub salad to school with chopped toms , lettuce , boiled egg . DO NOT come home hungry from school !Eat 5-6 little meals a day - do not allow 4 hrs between snack or you will drop your metabolism . Walk.walk, walk - you must keep moving . This all sounds heavy but it will come second nature. Good luck and remember - little successes along the way - just don't dwell on your wt - YOU are important , not your dress size!

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Get started today!

Yea, I can. I think you should NOT eat the following foods:
sugar (even sugary cerals)
pop (i heard diet pop is still bad for you)
fast foods (this is a big one! dont eat this at all!)
white bread (it turns into surgar after you eat it)
and there is a few more i cannot remember
Also you got 2 exersize each day. Try at least 2 hours a day.
Rent some exersize videos too!
Or go on a bike ride, it releves stress too. Go on a bike ride 4 at least an hour or two. Dont ride slow.
Get into after school sports or swim lessons.
And do ur BEST effort in your gym class.
We'll i hope this works for you and good luck trying!!! :)

firstly how old are you and are u male or female.
well just to start u off, try going for 15 minute walks at a semi fast pace, that should burn the calories off a bit. then change your diet. try eating 6 times a day but small meals, every 2.5 hours. what this does is boost your metabolism and then burns extra calories, which will make you lose alot of weight.
and as for the doctor, try asking your older cousins or an older friend perhaps to take you! hope this helps!

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

You should try adding up the total number of calories you eat and drink in a day. That means every thing! even mayonnaise, and sweetener, and then start eating 500 LESS calories a day than that. Try to drink alot of water...oh, and crystal light is good and only has like 10 calories. just be more aware of your calories, and eat 5 small meals a day rather than 3 bigger ones.
Its been working for me so far...hope this helps

Try small steps. If you go nuts cutting out all foods, it can be very discouraging.

Cut back on soda. When you've done this for a week or two, cut back on chips. Take baby steps. You can do it.
