Last week in lunch, the guy next to me spilt his drink all over the table, my book bag and books. He apologized immediately and rushed to get napkins. I kept telling him it was no problem, and I helped him clean up the mess a bit. He offered to carry/clean my books, but I said it was cool.

Today, he asked if I had a few papers he could borrow for a couple of minutes to get some late work finished up. I searched for them and gave him the papers. I had on a WoW shirt, (online game) and he mentioned he tried the trial out. After he finished he thanked me for the papers and apologized again.

You'd think he would've totally forgotten about it after the incident. lol

I didn't really know what to classify the question under. Sorry! :/

Maybe he has been severly punished at home for little things like that and felt he might not ever be forgiven as those incidents are probably put back in his face numerous times. (Your a failer..useless...dumb...)

Sounds kind of like he might like you. Or he could just be embarrassed about what he did. If he approaches you again he probably likes you. Once when I was at work a mechanic came into the office to borrow a nickel from me. I knew he was interested because he worked with like 30 guys in the shop. I found it hard to believe he had to come all the way into the office for a nickel. I was right. You probably are too.

He is thoughtful and conciderate, perhaps a little too that way. He seems to value your opinion of him, this could mean something or nothing. Also you play WoW heh wicked. I wish i had the time to play that hey, too buisy with work and social life

Maybe he hates people who does that and realized he just did it too. I tend to over apologize when I realize I just did something I truly hate people do as well

He has a self esteem problem and may carry it for the rest of his life. Imagine him at 70 and still apologizing.

Sounds like he likes you but don't read too far into it. Try striking up a conversation with him and if you find out something you both have in common maybe invite him someplace. That's if you like him.

He might be slightly interested in you or he might be really paranoid about his spilled drink. It's too soon to tell.
