My strong anti-opinion of illegal immigration has me approaching the boundary line of hate. I do not want to become this person.

Any advice to help me focus on the issue and not the illegals behind the problem.

humm that's a tough one. I recently have been finding myself in anger over the same matter. I am a LEGAL alien from Europe and have been in the USA for about 13 yrs now. Been paying taxes since day one and signed up for selective service within 48 hours of my arrival in the USA. I learned english, and in my spare time spanish and french. An Illegal can come here, keep speaking his native language, not pay taxes, receive a great amount of minority scolarships, medical aid and so on leaching on the American economy. I am pissed off too but when you think about it, who should we be more mad at, our own government who allowds hundres of thousands of them in everyday, who doesn't crack down on big corporations like McDonalds who employes them for low wages, or them?

How about this scenario.I came to this country four years ago and married my long time (15 years) girlfriend who`s American,We applied for immigration based on fiancee and started to build our first house together,it burnt to the ground just before we were due to sell it ,we then had another house fire ONE year later to the month and each time our paperwork burnt as well,we had no insurance so we couldn't afford to finish the immigration ,since then my wife now works two jobs to pay the bills working sometimes 18 hour days as i cant legally and now we`ve found out i need a hip replacement and within the last four months i`ve been diagnosed with MS ,it`s not always about not wanting to do the right thing but sometimes its a bit difficult when life can be such a *****.
We are not all the same.

Ask yourself where this 'anti-opinion of illegal immigration' hatred comes from. Does it actually stem from something that has effected you, or are you simply racist. Just admit it to yourself if you are.

People like you scare me. When people like you start saying things on answers like they all need to be deported, shot, etc... I can't help but think of the same hatred and scapegoating tendency in human beings that drives jewish Holocausts or black oppression.

If you want to control your anger then think about your grandkids many years down the road... will they be embarrassed of your racism, or inspired by your tolerance.

They're different than you. They may be disrupting your way of life (such as liberating the slaves that provided free labor and wealth). But they're not going away. Accept it.

Unlike other people in this forum who say we are all. We were not illigal immigrants! The one to be mad at is the US Government. That is the only one I could see putting the blame on. We have laws on our books right now that could be enforced but the local police, state and government don't want to enforce it. They are who you should be mad at. And by the way I am an American who is completely against the amnesty bill, but it's the political part of it I don't like.

The illegals are a huge part of the problem, you can't ignore that fact. No one tells them to come over and break our laws and suck up our tax money. Then they burn our flag in our vets cemetary, refuse to assimilate, demand more, act racist towards anyone who isn't spanic etc.
How the hell can they seriously expect people not to hate them?

You are absolutely right in your feelings, don't let anyone tell you different. It doesn't make you a bad person at all to hate an enemy who is bent on your destruction.

I feel the same way. However, I try to direct my hate towards the companys that HIRE them, taking advantage of them. Also, It irks me that MY tax dollars go for their Medical, and school expenses. In my county, they have shut down buses before becasue of funding for the legal kids, let alone the illegals.

In as much, I do not think it is wrong to hate the Illegals, for in reality, they are breaking the law, and in the long run, costing you money.

Illegals are like all of us, they are thinking of their own needs first. We need to let government know that this issue isn't going to be forgotten, though, by the American people. They promised a wall and that wall will never be built. They have proposed legislation and, I guarantee, after the elections, it too will be forgotten.

Maybe you can turn some of that anger and hate towards the rich white liberal bastards in both parties who act like dictators and force their garbage ideas on the American people against our will. They can't be racists anymore so they've stepped up their class warfare and elitism.

Believe me, if you were as poor as the illegals coming into this country, you would come across the border illegally as well....I know I would.

Look to the words of Jesus Christ about helping thy neighbor, the next time you feel hate.
