I was just wondering where in the Bible does it discuss abortion, and it being a sin. I think it might be because "thou shall not murder" might pertain to killing a fetus, but I am not sure. Bible verses would be great, thank you.

Abortion photos prove abortion is the violent killing of a premature baby.
Note that graphic abortion pictures exist because the aborted babies in these photos were killed by abortionists who were paid to 'terminate' their pregnancy. Like victims of the Nazi holocaust, aborted babies have no right to life. 'Pro-choice' treats unborn babies just like the Nazis treated the Jews. In America, thousands daily are tortured to death - torn limb from limb, chemically burned, and worse.

If you haven't seen what abortion does, then you will never understand what abortion is.

Between 1882 and 1968, 3,446 Blacks were lynched in the U.S. That number is surpassed in less than 3 days by abortion.

1,452 African-American children are killed each day by the heinous act of abortion.

3 out of 5 pregnant African-American women will abort their child.

Since 1973 there has been over 13 million Black children killed and their precious mothers victimized by the U.S. abortion industry.

Pro-Choice? This carefully devised phrase was contrived to provoke our inward zeal for freedom and the civil right to make choices freely. I am all for freedom of choice, except when it comes at the expense of innocent lives. Women who have been deceived into wrong choices and children who were never given any choice at all are the victims of pro-choice America.
"Abortion is the greatest deception that has plagued the black church since
Lucifer himself.

With 1/3 of all abortions performed on Black women, the abortion industry has received over 4,000,000,000 (yes, billion) dollars from the Black community.

The Bible does not discuss abortion per se. But in the old testament it speaks of what one should do if a woman with child was harmed or the baby was harmed in the situation. Can't remember where I read it. Probably in Deu.

The Bible never specifically addresses the issue of abortion. However, there are numerous teachings in Scripture that make it abundantly clear what God’s view of abortion is. Jeremiah 1:5 tells us that God knows us before He knits us in the womb. Psalm 139:13-16 speaks of God’s active role in our creation and formation in the womb. Exodus 21:22-25 prescribes the same penalty for someone who causes the death of a baby in the womb as the penalty for someone who commits murder. This clearly indicates that God considers a baby in the womb as just as much of a human being as a full-grown adult. For the Christian, abortion is not a matter of a woman’s right to choose. It is a matter of the life or death of a human being made in God’s image (Genesis 1:26-27; 9:6).

The Bible is clearly pro-life and upholds the sanctity of life.
“...Choose life so that you and your descendants may live” (Deu 30:19).
"For You formed my inward parts; You wove me in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made..." (Psa 139:13-14)
"Did not he who made me in the womb make them? Did not the same one form us both within our mothers?" (Job 31:15).
In reference to pregnant women, the term 'with child' occurs 26 times in the Bible, yet not once does the less emotional term 'with foetus'. In God's eyes the pre-born child is an infant, an individual who is made in God's image, and He has a plan for them.
"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations" (Jer 1:4-5).
"I realize that whatever God does will last forever. Nothing can be added to it, and nothing can be taken away from it..." (Ecc 3:14).
We are to look at others through Jesus' eyes and not our own. Jesus Christ particularly paid attention to the poor, the outcasts, and those whom the rest of society considered insignificant. God sees everyone as being of infinite value.
"Whatever you did for one of the least of these my brethren, you have done to me" (Matt 25.31-46).
"Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven" (Matt 18:10)
"If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you" (John 15:18)
"If men strive, and hurt a woman with child, so that her fruit depart from her, and yet no mischief follow: he shall be surely punished..." (Exo 21:22-23).
"Cursed is he who accepts a bribe to strike down an innocent person" (Deu 27:25)
"Defend the cause of the weak and fatherless; maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed. Rescue the weak and needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked" (Psa82:3-4).

"If a man fathers a hundred children and lives many years, however many they be, but his soul is not satisfied with good things, and he does not even have a proper burial, then I say, `Better the miscarriage than he, for it comes in futility and goes into obscurity; and its name is covered in obscurity. It never sees the sun and it never knows anything; it is better off than he.'"

Ecclesiastes 6:3-5

Pretty clear to me, that the Bible speaks more of quality of life vs. quantity. No one can pinpoint one place where abortion is mentioned as a "sin" and not distort the context of the quote.

The Bible says that God knows us before we are formed in the womb. It also implies that we are not supposed to crush the head of a helpless human being for our own personal convenience.

How about "No greater love has a man but to give his life for his fellow man". and also "Women will be saved by childbearing" How can we as Christians depend on the grace of God through the sacrifice of his son Jesus who said "This is my body which will be given up for you" and then turn around and deny our body to a little innocent baby?

The Bible does not address abortion. And God does not need anyone to add to the Bible to make a political point that is for personal gratification. God himself invented abortion and uses it every day. And the reason it is used is to save life, not to end life. Over 50% of fertilized eggs are naturally aborted by God.
Mankind, due to its selfishness, makes more children than can be supported, fed and cared for by the resouces that mankind employs. People that are pro life are selfish. Man does not care for Gods children as he should. Millions of children will die every year due to our failure to care for them. That is one reason why God uses abortion. For each fetus that is allowed to pass on, 12 living and loved children can be saved. To stop abortion is to cause the death of children. That is why, when a woman prays to God about abortion, He frequently gives his permission. I am sorry it is a fact. God supports abortion through His actions and some would say punishes those who are pro life by allowing their children to die.

CORINTHIANS
CHAPTER 3
16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

God gave us bodies so we could multiply and bring forth children. That is our cause and our purpose.

"What Does The Bible Say About Abortion?

Absolutely nothing! The word "abortion" does not appear in any translation of the bible!"

---

"If men strive, and hurt a woman with child, so that her fruit depart from her, and yet no mischief follow: he shall be surely punished according as the woman's husband will lay upon him; and he shall pay as the judges determine.

"And if any mischief follow, then thou shalt give life for life, Eye for eye, tooth for tooth . . ."--Ex. 21:22-25

---

"According to the bible, life begins at birth--when a baby draws its first breath. The bible defines life as 'breath' in several significant passages, including the story of Adam's creation in Genesis 2:7, when God 'breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.' "

---

"Many antiabortionists quote the sixth commandment, 'Thou shalt not kill' (Ex. 20:13) as evidence that the bible is antiabortion. They fail to investigate the bible's definition of life (breath) or its deafening silence on abortion. Moreover, the Mosaic law in Exodus 21:22-25, directly following the Ten Commandments, makes it clear that an embryo or fetus is not a human being."

---

"Belief that 'a human being exists at conception' is a matter of faith, not fact."

"Jeremiah 1:4-10

"This is a special event -- the birth of a prophet. God brought the prophet Jeremiah into the world for a divine purpose, and because of that, God was planning Jeremiah's life 'before' he was even conceived. God was preparing him to do miraculous things, such as speak on behalf of God while still a child and setting him up as an overseer of nations and kingdoms. But the anti-abortionists simply overlook this on their way to claiming that the one phrase they quote proves God sees us as individual people while still in the womb. God saw Jeremiah in that way, but to claim it applies to all of us is akin to saying that we were all prepared as children to speak for God, and that God has placed all of us 'over the nations and over the kingdoms' of the world. In essence, to claim this verse applies to anyone other than Jeremiah is to claim that we are all God's divine prophets. We are not; therefore, we cannot apply these verses to our own lives.

"Another problem in this passage is the phrase, 'Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee.' In Psalm 139:13-16 the anti-abortionists claim that because God was active in the creation of King David in his mother's womb that we must conclude the fetus is recognized by God as being a person. But here we see God stating that he knew Jeremiah 'before' he was formed in the womb. By anti-abortionist logic, we would have to conclude that we are a human person even before conception. Since this is a ridiculous notion, we must, therefore, conclude that the anti-abortionist is interpreting these verses incorrectly."
