Umm.. That's just an odd question. Obviously, if you have a digital clock, twice a day, you're going to see 11:11 on it. (As well as 1:11)... And, amazingly, you will find certain groups of numbers almost anywhere.
Your question actually reminded me of a book I saw years ago talking about the number "666"... They pointed out the grouping in everything they could find.. Including in the midst of a 16 digit credit card number, etc.. and explained how that made places like Sears evil (because the card happened to be from Sears).. I thought it was funny because I have a bible and there is a page 666 in it.. Does that make the bible evil to that person? hehe
Numbers are just that.. numbers. Often people will try to make up all these weird things about what certain groups of numbers mean (not sure what the significance of the 1's is that you're talking about).. and then will try to convince people to start freaking out about seeing them everywhere..
Don't be too worried that you happened to see a newscast that had a digital clock on it.. You're going to see a lot of it.. and it's not going to hurt anyone :)

My thoughts: You watched the 6:00 NEWS and saw the digital clock behind him setting on 11:11. Did you think perhaps he should set his clock because it was wrong? Or did you jump to the conclusion that it was a supernatural sign and every one is going to die in 11 hours and 11 minutes. Maybe you are the only one who saw it so only you will die. And the rest of us will be ok. But that's all right because when you die you wont know and you will think every one died at the same time. Kisses BB

I see different numbers all day long but the ones I notice most are around 3:00 pm because within 15 minutes of 3:00 pm my husband and all my kids get home from work and school and my time alone in the house is over for another day..
Then I start looking for 9:30 pm that wonderful time of night .... Ahhhhh bedtime :)

I'd worry when you see 6:66 on a clock more than 1:11 or 11:11. It happens much less frequently!

The "real" MacGuyver would tell you that your brain is programmed to see patterns, and it tends to note the easier patterns (like a set of vertical line segments) more than the less notable numbers. You aren't seeing 111 more than other numbers, but you convince youself that you are because you remember the times you see it better than the times when you don't.
It's called Confirmation Bias. You are biased by remembering what you want to remember.

Just to get your attention. In newspaper adds, most of the digital clocks say 10:10.
I used to attach separate meaning to different numbers, but lately all of it runs together to just form the experience of "stopping". IT's valuable. There is nothing going on in our reality that can't be stopped.
That's my thoughts and my experience of it.

That is just a statistical anomaly due to the small sample size (29) and other sampling errors. Besides there is truth in Numbers it is found in the fourth book in the bible. The truth in Numbers supports the 'Truth in Numbers".
