hey, more than that, GWB de-classified some intel that states Bin Laden tasked his #2 with setting up a cell for the purpose of attacking the US. well, we got them all and thwarted attacks and Bush seems oh so proud but doesn't this say that his rhetoric about fighting them there to keep them from coming here is just a great big crap sandwich? How can Iraq be so key to our security if terrorists can come here at will?

Al-Qaida and similar terrorist outfits are primarily the direct or indirect creations of CIA, MI6 and the like. Their existence provides pretext for all sorts of lucrative rackets including War on Terror, Arms sales, arming proxy armies, etc. An example is the bloodshed going on in Lebanon. For beginners, please watch Seymour Hersh's CNN comments on the new round of massacres in Lebanon.
Hersh: Bush administration arranged support for militants attacking Lebanon:
In an interview on CNN International's Your World Today, veteran journalist Seymour Hersh explains that the current violence in Lebanon is the result of an attempt by the Lebanese government to crack down on a militant Sunni group, Fatah al-Islam, that it formerly supported.

you can't really give an answer to this one. no one knows everything that's going on. not even the people in the military(myself). no one knows the full story only bits and pieces. the government hides information. so to come to a conclusion as to whats going on and whos doing what wrong is really impossible. there may be many reasons as to the decisions that are being made that we don't know. and for the civil war that has been going on iraq and everywhere else there is no stop to that. they need to come to an agreement without us pushing our ways onto them. but i personally don't agree with bush's way of handling things, but i haven't thought of another way and i haven't heard anyone come up with another way besides withdraw troops. so if anyone has an idea please share.

Yes, the very declaration of a 'War on Terror' is absurd. It's like declaring a War on Bombs or War on Bullets. Terrorists aren't the enemy. They are the weapons used by the enemy. Terror isn't the enemy, it is a tactic used by the enemy.

Evidently, the majority of people can see something is wrong with the war on Terror. Our president is too arrogant to say, "Oops!, my bad!" Meanwhile, thousands die because of this man's arrogance and Halliburton stockholders, including the V.P., just get richer.

We should be calling it World War Three !! We are not fighting it hard enough. We are being PC about it and you just can't win like that. We are supposed to be fighting to win, right ?
Look these Islamic fascists want to control the world and we must defeat them. The alternative is not a pleasant thought.

Hmm. Nope. I just can't make myself as ignorant as that. Would you prefer us to run and hide? We are dealing with this issue the best that we can and you should be supporting your country and troops.
