find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

You shouldn't be dieting at your age - you are still growing.

However, you can be healthier by running, swimming, doing situps, pushups, playing sports - anything you do is good as long as you continue it for atleast an hour each day.

For food, you should drop the junk food and pick up some healthy eating habits.

For now, however, you shouldn't be losing weight.

Good luck staying in shape.

Good for you, you are making a good choice to get rid of excess weight at this age.

Since you are young i would suggest seeing your doctor first. That way s/he can make sure you are healthy enough to start a weight loss program.

I saw a nutritionist at your age, It really helped because she was able to tell me what foods i should eat and make sure i still maintain healthy eating habits for my age.

Weight watchers is also a good option, but you need a Doctors note if youa re under 18 i believe.
