Actually some Mormons came to my house after Hurricane Katrina and cleared trees away and did it for free. They barely spoke to me except to smile. They were lit up like light bulbs and seemed very spirit filled. I had a good impression of them.

Any GOOD Mormon missionary knows that tey can't convert anyone. Only the Holy Spirit can do that. He did for me.

Yes, and yes.
I was a major skeptic for a long time, but I wanted to know what they believed and I wanted to know if it was the truth. Long story short, I received a confirmation from the Holy Ghost that it was true. I joined. Since then, I have continued my research and more and more, I find it to be the truth.

Re-convert me, that is try to get me back in the church, but I was already saved, and after being saved, I finally stopped being suicidal, after years of wanting to die, so what can I say, do you think i want to go back to the church and be suicidal, I think not.

Sure. I just told them about Jesus. They even came back with an elder to talk to me. When they found out I was a minister they didn't return again.

I remember being approached by the archetypical two young men in white shirts about a year ago. I told them that they were far too young to be "elders" and when I questioned them on their doctrine of God having a body, they were unable to answer me. They had the usual pat answers about me needing to pray for a witness that they were correct. I told them they were unqualified to be on the mission field and that they were spreading false teaching. They invited me to their "stake" or "ward" or whatever you call it. As I took the tour, I asked if they believed in the 10 commandments, and they told me they did. I then pointed out the obvious violation of the second commandment (they had paintings of "Jesus" everywhere) they got defensive and tried to tell me they would pray about it. I told them that there entire religious experience seemed to be centered around allowing personal, subjective feelings trump the Word of God and left.

Didn't work.

Yes they did and no it didn't work. We let them in our house one time. Mostly to learn more about different peoples beliefs. We told them we didn't want to join. So they left and the next day they continued to send more people over. Eventually we stopped answering the door. That's when the sent there "high elders" or something. Which was just scary. I consider that harassment.

Yes and I told them their "religion" contradicted the Word of God ~and it does~
it did not work because I have the Holy Spirit~the Spirit of truth and Jesus is my Lord and I know Him personally
