Where did you read that? Where were the polls taken?
All reports I've read actually say the contrary.
One example:
"According to the 2006 Harris Poll, the number of people that believe in God has declined from 79 to 73 percent in the past three years, and the number of people who believe there is no God has increased from 7 to 9 percent. The poll also distinguishes among particular demographic groups, indicating that five percent fewer college-educated individuals believe in God than non-college educated individuals. When considering these figures as well as the general tendency to deviate or experiment with all sorts of self-identifiers during the formative college years, it is likely that the number of students at most college campuses who question or deny the existence of God is even greater than the poll reflects."

It's nice you can say anything you want without any shred of evidence to support your view. That's a lot like how your religion works.
Fact is, atheism is on the rise. I do have facts to support that. Look at Europe. Look at the number of atheist books on the NY Times best seller list. Someone's buying them!

WHAT POLLS??? You can't just say "polls" and assume people won't question you. If there are polls, though, I'm guessing they would say the opposite, though. I'm guessing that as we move into the 21st century, more and more people are waking up to the BS that is religion.
If you ARE right, though, which I doubt very highly, this is one of the most depressing things I have ever heard in my life. I know the world is falling apart, but I sure hope it isn't actually THAT bad...

Judaism, Islam and Paganism

I don't care how many people believe what religion. Take a poll at ancient Rome and you'll find out almost everyone believes in Zeus and Christians are a minority. That doesn't make Zeus real and the new poll doesn't make the Christian God real either.

This must be a Fox Network poll...or perhaps taken within your church? I have seen no polls like this, and even if there were, I would suspect gross skewing of the results. Sorry, I think you are either making up your facts (not very nice to lie...breaks a commandment) or you have been confused. Good luck and peace.

Atheisms fading? its funny to me that faith and truth are used together so often cause if you had truth you wouldnt need faith. With the day of the lord so close I need to know excatly when, I'll need to tape CNN all day for that. Let me know so I can set my DVR.
