If they only picked up a book sometime they'd understand that it's soooooo much more intricate and involved that that. They are not "accidents" and are not "coincidence". Is the complexity of it too much for them that they need to simplify it in terms equal to that of their bible (i.e. god created everything. Done.)?

Father Ast - don't be so small minded! Just because it's complex does NOT then suggest a creator! In fact, I'd argue that it's far TOO complex for any single deity to create.

Mel... Youre dead on. What exactly is going on?!

I think these people need to feel the feelings of 'love' that the religion is secretly selling them.

I cant believe what I read on here. Its like a bunch of brainwashed fools. All this time they're wasting in the hope of going to heaven! Not to mention missing out on enjoying the pleasures of life that are apparently 'forbidden'.

They are all ignorant. They call us narrow minded but if you sit down a religious person and ask them a question the only answer they will give is to have faith when it has nothing to do with the question the you have asked. I believe that the religious community is full of people who are weak minded and scared. They fear death and that life might really not have any true meaning to it. I refuse to believe anything until I have some hardcore evidence in front of me. There is always a possibility that there might be a god but you cant say no to everything else. I believe in keeping an open mind to everything.

Ignorance abounds.
The Creationists belief is that God intricately deigned everything with accurate precision, and mathematics, to sustain life. There's nothing simple about that.

****And would you think I was IGNORANT if I said "Evolutionists" never pick up a book, all they know is what they are taught in high school." That would be insulting and ignorant, and there would be NO basis for that silly claim. We don't appreciate it either. If you're going to make claims about a group of people MAKE THEM VALID. Many Christian scientists have studied evolution and other theories for several years in university and have CONCLUDED that a GREAT MIND started it all off because of the intricacies involved in our world.

You are correct in saying some do. In fact many, many do. But their simplistic approach does not prove them wrong in their conclusions concerning things of the Spirit. And that is where they are supposed to live.
At the same time, I doubt many scientists are willing to call the bang or evolution an "accident". Wait a minute. What does that imply?

Have you heard of the shark in a tank with two other FEMALE sharks which none of the three has been in a tank with a male shark in THREE YEARS that gave birth to a baby shark? And still some people say that the virgin birth is a myth, can they call this one a myth, too? Happy puzzles.

I agree totally with everything you said.
God created everything. There are over a billion stars in our galaxy. There are also over a billion galaxies in our "known" universe. There are more galaxies than there are humans that have ever been born on planet earth.
What is man that God is so mindful of him? Everything must keep it's ratation and alignment and movement or our delicate life here will cease to exist.
Order out of chaos? or Inteligent design? Gotta be intelligent design.

People learn at their own pace. It's OK to believe the creation story as fact to start with and as people grow intellectually they will be able to accept more. Do not berate others for their lack of understanding, be patient, and long-suffering with others.

Remember there is much you and I do not understand yet.

But...but...They picked up a book. One book. And now that book has to fit into reality.

I'm actually sorta proud of them that they still manage to invent new gaps in our knowlegde to squeeze their god into.

The only book they will pick up is the bible.

"Ignorance more frequently begets confidence than does knowledge: it is those who know little, and not those who know much, who so positively assert that this or that problem will never be solved by science"
