I have read many books on this subject, and I have talked to vets and breeders. The usual response I get is wait until they are eight or nine weeks old. If the people that want these kittens want them spaded or neutered however you may have to wait a little longer; it is suggested you wait to fix a cat until it has had it's first heat.

Typically anywhere from 6-8 weeks, but as long as the kittens have been weaned and are using the litterbox, they can be adopted out.

I wouldn't adopt them out before they are 4 weeks old, though, as the longer they are with their mom (and the longer they can nurse), the healthier they will be both socially and physically.

I don't ever plan on leting them go until 8 weeks they may ween sooner but get a lot of their behavior and potty training from mom. I hate seeing things in my local paper and so about the cat is driving me up the wall it wants to suck on me all the time this is usually due to them going to early.
they should however start their shots at 6-7 wks depending on your vet and the vaccine they use.
Also make sure that each one is eating solid food before letting them go
Good luck

Kittens aren't puppies. They learn from MOM, not their human families. 12 weeks is best to ensure full weaning -- some kittens are still nursing at 8 weeks -- and good litterbox and cat tree habits.

They have to be old enough to eat cat food and not nurse anymore, plus kitties have to know how to drink from a bowl. You can teach them by (and this is not mean at all, its just how you get them to learn) setting a saucer of milk in front of them and gently push their mouth into the milk for a moment. They will lap the milk off their mouth out of reflex but this shows them how to drink from a bowl.

8 weeks and no sooner. The kittens need nutrition from their mom for 8 week or they will have health problem later.

6 to 8 weeks old is recommended, because by then they are fully weened.
